        that's what I said.

        • +2

You tried to tell others they shouldn’t sign up because there’s nothing worth to watch. Why would you say it to yourself in comments?

          • +2

@Pricebeat: First time huh. JV is a different breed of Ozbargainer. In a good way though. He soaks up most of the negative upvotes

No I didn't. I just stated my opinion.
That's why we have a comments section.

@jv: You mean the comments section is for making comments?

              Mind blown. TIL.

@xoom: I started three different subscriptions FOMO. I really tried to watch Severance. I would have appreciated seeing a comment saying there isn't much to see.

            • @jv: I don’t see your opinion on countless other posts that are not worth it to you. Should I expect a comment on every single post not relevant to you from now on?

                    If you ask, then yes…

                    • @jv: No one asked, especially to the person with no idea of the service.

If you keep reading here, you'll get a much better idea of the service.

                        • @jv: Did you mean to say waste my time? Because I already have the idea of this service

That all depends if you find the info useful or not.

Just a heads up, the deal that OP posted is in reference to the new LG promo and the T&Cs:

Offer available with LG 4K and 8K TVs on 2018 to 2022 models. Offer starts 1st December 2022 and ends 31 January, 2023. Offer must be redeemed by 7 February, 2023. Title should read:

It's pretty crap, and there are plenty of offers around for 2 months free AppleTV, without having to spend a packet.

  • Apple TV+ has increased it’s monthly cost to $9.99 so I would imagine this applies here too.

  • My brother and I just bought a new neo Samsung tv each a month ago and when we loaded the app we where both offered 3 months as well, I cant find anything online, But also on the 2022 Samsung model range

  • +1

Yeah this message i notice come up on my OLED C2 the other day

  • +3

The high seas is my unlimited free trial.

  • +1

Was setting up my Samsung smart monitor M8 today and when I opened the Apple TV app there was the same offer available. Too bad I already have an existing trial subscription and it doesn’t extend it my another 3 months

  • -1

3 months? I can't believe this is considered a deal. 12 months would be good I guess. We are talking about a TV purchase, not some cheap item. Would be ok if an LG was on your radar.

    • Or perhaps you're oblivious. Clearly LG want to push people over the line who are in the market for a new model and weighing up options. No one in their right mind would spend thousands to get a 3-month free Apple subscription, and that was never the message.

      • clearly

I doubt 3-month free Apple subs would carry any weight when your TV budget is a few grands. More like a perk to reward existing customers - something rare those days - and provide a sense of premium service.

        • +1

Of course it would if you're trying to decide between two models that both meet your requirements - as is often the case between LG and Sony for example.

      • Obviously. 3 months is no line pusher however.

  • Anyone added this to the free apple tv ps5 offer from few months ago
