Disregard the $9 shipping as at $29 free shipping it's still the cheapest around.
does it only pair with idevices?
Compatible with all A2DP stereo Bluetooth-enabled devices, including: iPhone 3GS 16GB 32GB iPhone 3G 8GB 16GB iPod touch 2nd Generation 8GB 16GB 32GB 64GB
Anything with bluetooth, ie android, apple, windows etc although windows is the worst for bluetooth pairing
this is drop shipping..
is that a statement or a question???
is this rechargeable or must always be plugged into powerpoint with adapter?
This photo helped me out. http://www.rubbermonkey.com.au/ProductImage/Large/17680.jpg
Thanks OP. Just bought one.
Can we assume this is OZ stock and therefore has an Oz plug pack?
How do you buy more than 1?? Separate orders?
you just open up the page again and click add to cart a second time. It still charges you $9 each for delivery.
I understand we're up to Bluetooth 4.0. This device is 2.1. Can anyone briefly explain the differences?
http://lmgtfy.com/?q=bluetooth
well from the jist of it, 4.0 has a faster transfer rate than 2.1's upto 3MB/s… 4.0's transfer rate is now upto 24MB/s.
I guess bandwidth for audio is more than sufficient at anything above 1MB/swhich means it shouldn't be a problem if you're just streaming mp3s, as the highest birate available is only 320kb per second. But it's another story if you want to stream FLAC files, as it depends on the original "lossless" birate.
Both will be (re-)compressed over-the-air - A2DP (mandatory and) built-in SBC codec is not high quality - IMO, similar to AM radio. Great for listening to podcasts and music/speech streaming from BT devices.
Proprietary (ie. non-mandatory, hence not built-in unless advertised) Apt-X which can also be sent within A2DP - this is (supposedly) high fidelity and there are many transceiver devices and (mated) headphones using it.
I almost bought this logitech one for $39 the other week. http://www.logitechshop.com.au/logitech-wireless-speaker-ada… glad I hesitated!

Does this do the same thing?Does it work work with headphones like this one? i would prefer something like this
http://www.meritline.com/wireless-bluetooth-audio-receiver-f…But they both look soooo tacky.
I bought a cheap bluetooth reciver via dealextreme, problem with cheap one is a constant "hiss" noise in background also power issue meant need to turn off and on so not to burn out but this shuts off auto apparently.
For the few dollars you spend on cheap one might invet in one from branded company who make this stuff offically to iron out all bugs i reckon.
oops i mean this
http://www.meritline.com/bluetooth-stereo-a2dp-headset-headp…You would never buy that over the belkin. The belkin is a fairly good quality device with a good company behind it. It works well
Is this compaitable with Android devices?
Should be.
Bought this. sound is awful on my home theatre connected to my galaxy nexus :( Galaxy nexus sounds great on my car stereo over bluetooth, and the home theatre sounds great when streaming music with my PS3. So I'm pretty sure the belkin is the weak link.
google found me plenty of complaint threads mentioning the same issue i have - tinny hollow sounding echoey music (although most complaining about it with imacs). Apparently there's a way to force certain imacs to use a higher quality bluetooth format, no idea how to force that on my galaxy nexus.
I can't get the belkin to connect to my android tablet at all to compare though :/
It says online only.
