  Bluey books are pretty average at best. Yes the TV show is amazing, but the books are mostly a cash-grab. If it helps your kid get excited about reading book then they are good, but the quality of the dialogue and stories doesn't translate well to books, so you're better off with a story intended to be put on paper. Nick Bland, Mem Fox, Dr Seuss, and Lynley Dodd books are much better.

  But I guess this is $6 so you're not losing much.

    Or, if you want something original and Australian, take a look at the Funky Chicken series of books. The Angry Bear use to be my favourite, until I discovered Funky Chicken..
