      Just wait for people who buy it from the advertising/hype and find it isn't their type of game then sell it cheap on Facebook marketplace lol

      Single player only titles don't tend to hold their value long on the used market. Exception being limited production run games like a lot of Japanese localisation games which seem to increase in value a lot.

    Game looks decent but I'd have to say, all the mechanics etc. look almost identical to dead space. Makes me wonder what's the point if they're just trying to recreate the IP from the old game to compete with the remaster?

      It's from the original creator of Dead Space, this was announced well before the announcement of the Dead Space remaster.

      Hoping the remaster is good though, really loved the first two DS games so if we get another two bangers in a two like this then I'm all for it.

        Ah I didn't realise this was announced before. Regardless I do think it just seems way too similar - from the trailer even the story appears to have a similar premace to the first dead space.

          Yeah that's fair, it was meant to fill that void since it's been so long since a Dead Space game, and then EA just came out with the remaster announcement.

          Definitely draws huge inspiration from DS.

      Yeah, I think the real meaningful difference is the combat system. They've added dodging and melee to balance to help players deal with ammo shortages and damage resistant enemies.

      The creator of this game also made Dead Space and that's the area he mentioned wanting to differentiate on. Limb cutting gets you nowhere in this game.

      The story, setting, characters definitely hit all the same notes Dead Space did. Futuristic, dystopian sci-fi space horror with aliens you have to fight and escape from.

    Man when did they start separating Xbox games into One and Series? Used to be one copy would work on both consoles. I knew Playstation games did it but Xbox games now as well?

      For games where they charge more for next gen versions, it's separate. Otherwise still one copy.

      For instance, Sonic was the same price across gens/free upgrade, so single copy on Xbox for that.

      Unless you preorder (or even just normal order once released) with Amazon — you can return the game within a month of purchase under the return reason “product didn’t meet expectations” and get a full refund. Have done this for half a dozen or so games this year.
