    • +15

There is no "Ultimate Everyone" card available on the Auspost site.

      • +3

        That’s the best one

      • Which card has the biggest denomination?
        Like $500

        And any cards support Ebay?

        • On the Auspost store, the Ultimate Eats, Kids, Students and Teens are all in either $30 or $50 denomination.
The rest of the Ultimate cards on the Auspost store are in $50 or $100 denomination.

      • +2

makes me wonder why they don't just have a single "The Ultimate Gift Card" and do away with all this ridiculous logistics.

        • +5

To take up more shelf space. To have more unused cards expire due to difficulty of using them.

        • +1

More shelf space. Sometimes certain cards offer greater discounts. I’d say they make more margin on those cards. Eg active would be my guess.

  • +5

    Wish they did this sooner

    • +74

They know exactly what they’re doing.

      • I bet they do but I don’t understand the logic

        • +29

They want you to spend more money when everyone already spent it on Friday and this weekend

          • @fattyyyy: If they sold early, these would have sold out anyway. From the business perspective, it does not matter so I still don’t understand the logic

            • @Brakus: Funny logics and impulse buying. Obviously its not weighted to behavior of this community.

            • +10

@Brakus: Having the cards will encourage people to use them even if the future discount on goods isn't great, bcoz you'll be offsetting the cost with these cards. Also, they get to hold on to your cash for a while (until you use the cards), so they're capital raising in other words.

              • +3

@mrtee: Not exactly capital raising but more like unsecured interest free loan. The discount should be steeper given the interest rates are now higher.

            • @Brakus: Logic is make you spend more.

          • +18

@fattyyyy: Jokes on them, Black Friday sales were shit for everything I was after so I haven't spent any money yet

  • -4

Highest denomination looks to be $50 so max of $500 with in cards

    • +4

Click for more options and there's greater amounts, I saw $100 as an option

    • +1

A quick check and you see $100 denomination
      (Ultimate Him for eg)

    • How many stores did you visit?

      • 2 - one close to home, one at work

        • And you got 2.7k in value?

    • +7

      No wonder I can't find any.. ^_^

      • +2

SAME HERE… 3 times got nothing:)

        • -2

Come on Steph, for you the third time should have been a charm!

    • Wow what do you use for?
      Just curious

      • Buying a tv

    • @coast666 - which card you'd reckon is best to stock up on? HIM? Home perhaps?

  • cool gonna stock up prob just get 10x

    • Which cards do you suggest

      • Depends what you see yourself buying / gifting this Christmas.

      • +4

LOL. It's like asking who should I marry, everyone has their own taste/need of what to buy ;-)

        • +17

You seem wise. So who should I marry? 🤔

          • +1

@Mintchip: What's your taste and what size is your wealth? My general recommendation: the one you can afford to get/keep ;-)

      • Either Him, Teen or Baby & mum

        • Auspost doesnt have everyone btw

      • -1

Idk what floats ur boat bro

      • Stay safe and stick to cards that allow ebay, Amazon, Coles and woolworths.
If they still exist, haven't bothered since Easter($15/$150).

        • Is there one that allow Amazon?

  • +19

This is going to crash the site.

    • +1

Add cards to your my post account now and keep that safari tab open.

Open tab at 8.05am and hope that the website doesn’t crash before you check out?

      • LOL…Safari….Chrome you meant? :p

        • Meh…doesn't matter what browser you use these days there's a high possibility it's built on a Chromium engine. Safari uses WebKit, which is essentially a fork of Chrome anyway.

      • then they cleared your cart

  • +3

Better than the coles promo , they never exist in my local coles

    • Plenty in my coles store. If postage was free I would send you some.

But my coles had no Ultimate Card

      • Where is your coles ?

  • 10x per transaction or customer 🤔

    • +8

Transaction, but if it’s per customer then ask your pet to be useful.

    • no it was 2 for most cards but even that didn't work anyways

  • +3

Can someone link me to the ultimate everyone card at auspost online? Can’t seem to find it on their site.

    • -4

      It's in the OP

      • My eyes seem to be deceiving me here.
I have filtered by "Ultimate" as the brand name, and still cannot find it.

      • I cant find it as well

      • +3

        No, it's not.

Based on that link, it seems that Australia Post don't have the Ultimate Everyone card on their website.

    • They don't offer it; it's not part of their deal

  • +1

is there any way to get them in-store or do you have to wait several days for delivery?

    • Ya this is so confusing

      • +8

        @BuyOrNot @billsa

This promo is online only. On the online store, Click and Collect is not an option. The only option is delivery.

So to answer your question, yes, you'll have to wait several days for delivery.

        • +1

What about if got lost in the post or someone got hold of it.

          • @Bettyboo: Doubt it. If these are sent via parcel post, they are tracked. Only time it could get stolen is if it’s left at your home. That’s why for this I’d recommend using (if you have one) a P.O. Box or Parcel collection.

  • Wow, crazy good promo

  • +1

Would this be the cheapest way to get a Mac Air M2? I mean, $500 max is crap.

If you could get $1,500+ with 15% off etc

    • +1

plus the 10% off jb have for macs?

      • Double stack!

      • I use the card to buy the Mac yesterday.

        • How can I get the cheapest Mac air m2 512gb?

    • Still possibly cheaper going through the education store

      • Do you know how much cheaper?

      • Use these to buy apple gift cards at JB hifi, then use the apple gift cards at the education store.

        • +1

JB will price match education store.

      • Definitely not.

  • +5

These cards can be converted to JB Hi-Fi gift cards online unlike the TCN ones, right?

    • +2

I would also like to know. The ultimate website says they can be converted but not for all retailers and to check the exchange gift card website for details. That website doesn't provide any clarification on which stores you can convert into eGift card for.

It is also not clear how many eGift cards you can redeem at JB online (mixed reports of 5 or 10). It might be easier to convert them to JB gift cards in store into higher $$ value gift cards so you can use them for a single transaction online.

    • So the TCn cards cannot be converted to Jb Hifi cards online? Sorry Noob question

  • This is annoying lol. Im gonna have to cancel my JBHIFI order lol and wake up early for this

  • So are you supposed to buy the gift card, put them on your apple pay wallet then use them to pay for apple gift card at JB HI FI if you wanted to buy apple products? Am a bit confused atm.

    • That's one way to do it, and a bit tedious.
I read on another thread that it is possible to convert them directly to the retailer you are after. @WookieMonster, please help us out here. :)

    • I'm confused why you need Apple GC's. the only reason people are doing it now is to stack with the Apple gift card and cash back promo which ends tomorrow. Given you need to wait days for this to deliver that's out of the question so might as well by Apple products directly from JB

      • Or buy directly from Apple and bypass JB.

      • I was under the assumption you can't use the ultimate gift card with apple, and needed to buy apple gift cards to use directly on apple website.

I'm also planning to use an epp discount hopefully on the apple website.

        • You can't but also why would you buy on the Apple store after tomorrow. Will cost the same as JB/elsewhere with no notable cash back.
These cards will be delivered after tomorrow's sales are done so all this workaround makes no sense (unless you want free engraving via Apple)

          • @JDMcarfan: Still be useful for some people who want straight 15% discount and saving in their wallets, instead of buying from Apple right now and just receive the Apple store credit in the form of Apple gift cards.

            • @edfoo: Didn't know people valued Apple GC's.
I should go sell my $160 of new Apple GC's to someone who needs on classifieds. Was gonna buy dumb accessories or hold until next AirPod purchase in a few years

              • @JDMcarfan: You have no Apple subscription products to use the cards?? 🤔🤔

          • @JDMcarfan: I'm planning to buy a refurbished product which at a discount, using employee program can get 15% discount additionally. So say X product is being sold at a refurbished price, I'm able to get 15% off that price, in addition I'm going to use the gift cards which will provide an additional 15%.

If you have any better ways, I'm open to ideas.

            • @darkkito: that's fair you've got an actual use case scenario. You have to buy directly from the store and are getting additional discounts.
Why I brought the question up is because I assume(d) a lot of the remaining people looking to do the same are trying to just buy a pair of airpods/watch
but dont realise that the delivery date will be after the promotions are up. If they're looking to buy something that wasn't promoted (Iphone 14 for example) like me, going to the hassle to swap twice to get Apple GC's seems redundant as it is normally available at JB for the same price

              • @JDMcarfan: A lot of people are telling user how can you not have a subscription? If you are buying an Airpods / Apple watch, then obviously you are on iPhone.

It's a free country and you can do whatever you want with your gear but you really should read about how some of the subscriptions take away your trouble….

    • +1

Why can't they be used to purchase Apple products at JB? The JB HiFi Support website says you can use Ultimate Gift Cards? Would Officeworks be easier?

  • Time to prep for Boxing Day!

    • +2

Boxing Day sales are a scam

  • +3

Time to hang my head as an Ozbargainer, how do these cards work?
Do you buy online or instore? Do they stack?
I note that many were trying to get Coles and Also before, why do people try to get cards?
