    Got one! Thanks!

  • +1

    Thank you OP ☺️

  • +1

    Got one. Thanks op

  • you can only get one

    • +1

Yep that's the thing with Ali coupons. 1 per account sadly.

      • sucks, oh well

  • M getting $3.74?

    • +9

AU$ based on current Mastercard rate,

AliExpress' AUD will be inflated. Do you have a card without currency conversion fees? If so you add that to PayPal, set AliExpress to USD and when you're at PayPal checkout you can bill that card in USD. Then you'll get the current Mastercard or VISA exchange rate.

      • +1

        Good advice, definitely saved 30c

      • Can you just pay with credit card without currency conversion fees directly?

        • If you don't mind giving up PayPal's protections then sure go ahead.

          • @Clear: Ah, I see. Great thinking.

    • I get $4.49.

Orico 4 Port USB 3.0 Hub US$2.30 (~A$3.42) Delivered @ Orico Official Store AliExpress

what configuration did you specifically pick that got you that price?

    • The first one which is cheapest.

      Color: 4 USB 3.0 15cm USB A

      • ok, got it as AU $3.74; can't complaint. thanks OP!

    • You need to click the Get coupons link below the price and then activate the ones for the lower spend prices first.

      • you can't stack coupons

  • +4

Rather than entering the code at checkout I recommend collecting the code (click on store codes, then the corresponding code), this saves the code and auto applies it at checkout. As long as you use it before the expiry and the item you want doesn't go oos you can take your time, perhaps even stack it with other storewide codes and promos.

    • +2

That's the preferred method. Unfortunately if I put that in a deal a mod will remove it and just add the code.

    • code wouldnt add at checkout but this worked, thanks!

  • +1

Would buy one but worried I won't ever actually use it. Do you guys have lots of peripherals plugged in?

    • +3

Haha worried?!.. for the minimal outlay, it's a no-brainer to have one of these bad boys on the shelf…. cause you never no!

    • I mean, everyone's needs are different so….

      • I was just wondering what people were using it for so I could guess whether I might ever need one

        • +5

Keyboards, mice, Bluetooth adapters, webcams etc

        • +2

My PC case only has a single USB-A and USB-C port at the front so a hub is useful. Though currently I run a hub from the back since I have faster Gen2 ports there.

          • @Clear: the problem with this is the cable is too short for desktop use.

so you need to get another usb 3.0 extension cable to get full speed on the desktop

            • @pinkybrain: This deal has longer cables available for the hub

        • +1

if you need to ask, you most likely won't need it

    • Nowadays I need more of a USB C one instead.

      • +1

        USB-C is only $4.89 with code ;-)

        • Got a direct link? I tried a usb-C version (meaning OTG adaper, so usb-C input) but code doesn't work for me

          • @Wimma: I just picked the 15cm usb-c version instead of the usb-a which the deal description suggested

  • Tried to buy it with the coupon, had to update my card details, did so then pressed pay now and realised it was charging me full price. Too late. Now trying to figure out how to cancel.

    • lol

    • If you go to your Orders, then Order Details there's an option to cancel.

      • Yeah it wasn't there because the order hadn't processed yet. Managed to cancel but now when I go to rebuy it says I've already used that code. Rip me. Ah well, didn't really need one anyway 😅

        • If you really wanted it you could create a new account. Alternatively you could message the store, explain and they may be able to generate a once off code.

  • just got one thanks op! always handy when you least expect it:)

  • +1

I'm never buying cheapo hubs or readers, speeds are absolutely ridiculous, and they create problems. My K380 wasnt working properly with one of these so i bought a better one

    • +8

Good thing you're not in a shitty generic branded USB hub deal. Rather a quality USB hub where Orico are selling it as a loss leader.

It's also a bad idea to put USB 2.4Ghz receivers in USB 3.0 slots as they'll cause interference and it's widely documented by USB themselves, Intel and others.

      • Had this problem when I connected my headsets usb receiver into a usb 3.0 port yesterday

        • That's why USB 2.0 will never die. A USB 3.0 male to female extension cable would solve it by getting the receiver further away than the other ports.

Corsair had a nice little dock for their older Void Pro SE receivers. I wish more brands did this.

      • Damn this is exactly what I wanted this for, only single USB on my travel surface pro. Just have to grab a 2.0 then.

  • Managed to get it for $2.15 with the coupon code. Thanks, OP!

  • Got one.

  • Thanks!

  • Got the first one for US$2.30, Thanks!

    • What did you get the second one for?

  • Thanks Clear. Good deal.

  • thanks Op. bought one. good price.

  • Not sure if I'm adding the right one or not as with coupon my price is coming down to $1.76 AUD and it's 50cm. But everything else on it seems the same so idk.

    • New account? They get extra discounts.

      • Yeah, never bought from them before so I suppose that's it but I'm just using the same coupon you listed.

        • New accounts get extra discounts so you're lucky

          • +2

@Clear: Lucky me then lol. 50cm one will be better for my setup anyway so thanks.

  • +7

If you want to order a second one, use this promo code in a separate order: AA5ALN7KJN7S

Not as cheap, but almost as good.

    • Thanks mate, $1.70 extra but worth it

  • If you use a ms surface book which only has 2 ports, this is a must.

  • +1

This code is Not working for me MWR61K3DKOEQ
    Says it’s been used already.
I haven’t used it at all.

    • It's not applying automatically at checkout? It can happen this way

      • Now it’s working 🤷🏻‍♂️

        Thank you.

  • +2

Orico USB hubs are top quality. I have a 10-port one for my home setup but picked up one of these for the laptop! Cheers OP :)

  • thanks!

  • Thanks op - proper bargain.

  • Got one thanks

  • Am I doing this wrong??? I clicked the apply coupons buttons and I ended up paying USD0.50? is that correct???

    • +1

If you've just made an account you'll get the new user bonus.

  • Picked one up for $1.74 for the 0.5m variant, many thanks!

  • Ordered one with the short cable, should be good for the bedside table just for charging stuff overnight….when it turns up next year! Thanks to the person who found this bargain.

  • +1

I got it for 75c somehow

  • Never knew I need one until today, thanks OP :D

Garbage website. Placing an order broke the session half way through checkout. Retried and coupon code is now marked as "already used" on the account, despite no trace of the broken session or order in my account. Oh well, good on the folks that got an order through.

Last time i tried aliexpress was probably two years ago and from memory i never bothered to get the order through because the website was broken then, too.

    • +1

never had issue with the website. long time user here, approx. 5 - 7 years.

      • +1

The fact that such a large shopping website can completely lose an order session without a trace once it already started the paypal session and the paypal session was completed, is concerning. Maybe the website normally works, but it appears to be built on top of a pile of shit in the backend.

Also, the coupon codes wouldn't auto apply, which other people have experienced ITT.

From memory my problems a few years back were with certain pages not loading properly, so at least this time i got right up to the purchase confirmation.

    • Not broken, but AliExpress rejected my Visa card - I hadn't updated AliExpress account with new card details. No matter, deleted the old card and selected PayPal instead (saves remembering Visa card renewals) only to find I'd used up my one-off discount opportunity :(

      • the first order might be sitting unpaid in your orders list

        • It was, but it was a day later that a notification came through. I was sure I'd cancelled it after the Visa card and then the PayPal option failed.

  • +1

It took me for a while to find where to put the code. :)

    • +1

Me too.. Especially when you are under pressure to perform before it expire :)

  • Anyone know which controller this uses? Trying to repair a more expensive Belkin hub.

  • got thanks op

  • Thanks Op.

  • Is anyone getting 61c US for tax?

  • Thanks OP. $3.45 AUD for an existing user. I used the "Get coupons" on the product page and it auto applied in the cart. Oh, I forgot to activate Shopback, oh well.

    • which coupon did you "get" ? The one listed isn't on my list.

  • Thanks OP. Bought one for my laptop.

  • These hubs do not have any power of their own so rely on the USB port of the laptop/computer for powering the attached device. If you are planning to connect multiple USB drives anything more than 16-32 GB, it doesn't work.

  • Got one +1

  • This shows $4.01 straight off the bat for me, and code is invalid because it's a $6 min. spend code

  • Any deals for a USB-C phone charging station?

  • Thanks OP
    0.15m cable for $3.45

  • +2

These are great just be aware as they're unpowered (no power adapter) you'll only be drawing power off the one desktop/laptop USB port so you're sharing the power amongst the ports.

So keyboards, mice and low power things will work fine, but unlikely you'll successfully be able to use 4 portable USB hard drives at once for example.

  • +1

Over 300 sold to AU customers today. 2 days later and it's still selling!

  • surprised i was still able to get one. got the previous sdd enclosure

  • Wild goose chase to find my referral link, but of course on the page referral links are supposedly found, seems to be AWOL. How convenient.

  • I get $2.96 USD after setting it to USD. I think they raised the price.

  • +1

"We don't recognize this promo code. Have another try."
