  Purchased this exact model for a recent trip to Bali. Its "security" is just for show, you can break the zipper with a pen it's so flimsy.

  Long story, another passenger took our suit case as they had the same one, rather than realising that it wasn't theirs they broke into it. Now I have a broken suitcase, and I'm out of pocket. Great! {Eye roll}

      Sorry,.maybe should have been more specific. I think this suitcase has a zipper that is unable to be split open with a pen. The issue I am referring to is the metal tabs of the zipper that click into the locks. They arent strong and can be broken very easily. The metal is very weak and can be snapped with little force. Meaning you can access the contents very easily.

      If you choose to buy this suitcase my advice would be to use a sturdy wire padlock to ensure the zippers can't be separated and the suitcase is harder to open. (I know this isn't full proof, it would just mean you'd need tools to get into the suitcase as opposed to an everyday object I.E. a pen.

  I have this 68cm case, bought in 2019 ($145). Yesterday I bought the same case for a family member and the best deal I could find was $269 with free delivery from Bags To Go.

  I think the issue of weak zipper locks is not that important because if someone wants your stuff that badly, they will find a way to get it. Thieves will always go for the lowest hanging fruit first, so I reckon the zipper locks are there to defer the casual, opportunistic thief.
