You could probably get cheap flimsy clones for about that. At least this one is reasonably sturdy, and I have no inhibitions about putting my phone in it.
Does it fit Xbox Series X controllers?

Only thing to be aware of is that you can't turn the top clamp piece around like you can with the 8BitDo one (which gives you more weight distribution / controller clearance options), but it's not a deal breaker.
Dont recall how different they are, but it fits my s20 Ultra WITH a Mous Unlimited 3.0 case - which is pretty much a brick! lol.
