Need a price list comparison for all these models.. so hard to decide when going v7 to v8 is like $50 difference, then selling myself on the upgrade again for another $100 or so..
Got Floorboards and a fluffy corgi to deal with and only small 2bdroom apartmnet.. can't decide where to draw the line..
I have burnt through some of the cheaper Dreame and Mi vax that seemed to die randomly or just can't get parts for easily/economically.. so going back to Dyson for simplicity.
I did a few hours of reading and my conclusion was that this was the best value for money option, its a marked improvement from v8, but steps up are only marginal improvements for a lot more money

hadn't seen it at that price, but even then, I don't think the marginal improvements are worth an extra $150
might be a bit biased by my budget which was already quite stretched for this one, but I do feel like most of the additions post v10 are pretty minor and more in the realm of a $30-50 price increase in my eyes
@bakednoodle: Fair enough. I managed to get some TCN giftcards but then dyson official has a cashback of 10% and extra attachments so wondering if i should buy here or JB. First world problems. Dyson website says V11 has 40% more suction power than the Dyson Cyclone V10™ vacuum.

the suction is higher, which can be beneficial in some situations, but the actual cleaning performance was very very similar
I think the bigger improvement is with the battery, though for me the v10 will be more than enough
I almost bought it at JB, but went with dyson since it was the same price with more accessories
@Royale with cheese: Yup and for $20/$30 odd savings buying externally I went direct with Dyson (may have some slight benefit on Warranty, service, and future association)

I have the V6, (second hand gift) I have the V8 and loved it but it couldn’t do the whole house, my sister has the V10 huge difference between the V8 and 10… I wouldn’t get the V8, just not strong enough and the battery doesn’t last long enough. I now also have the V15.. (got a great trade for an old broken upright) love that even more… especially when the sister-in-law comes around with her corgi…. I can see all the hair she leaves with the light…. I like to vacuum in the dark now, I can see all the dirt… the V15 is also a lot better than the others on carpet. If you are on a budget dont go less than a V10…. Just my 2 cents worth

Does anyone who has the V10 with fluffy head get hair tangled in it? I know the V15 fluffy head is very good at not getting tangled but not sure about the V10 fluffy?
