Not as cheap as it has historically been ($19.66) but sitting at the lower end of the spectrum.
Own these in black and silver and have used daily for years without them skipping a beat and looking brand new - can highly recommend as an EDC.

I LOVE the Delguard. It works poorly with red coloured leads, I've discovered, but as long as I stick to standard pencil leads, it's fantastic.
The rOtring has some serious heft and aesthetics of its own though with that all-metal design. I don't imagine that metal grip would be particularly comfortable for long sessions, but haven't used it personally.
The tip is fixed, which is the only con for me. This is overall a great pencil.
The tip is fixed and the pencil is nose heavy, so if you drop it there's a good chance that it will land tip first and bend. If you're lucky you may be able to bend it back well enough to use it. If not you can buy a replacement tip which includes the complete section with the knurled grip and the tiny tube, which costs more than the cost of the pencil in this deal.
I have a 0.7mm that is currently useless due to the missing tip, I'm planning on buying some tube with an ID of 0.7mm and fitting that instead of replacing the entire tip or pencil.
Thanks Op. Being spending a lot on German designed/made goods last few weeks - Knipex, Wera and now rOtring.
I've got the pen in black and within a very short time the black coating has been wearing off showing the brass underneath.
How does it look to your taste?
I have rotring 800, and was thinking to buy black 600 which is on sale now for $25 just to use sandpaper and remove some paint (not all!), slightly exposing the brass, as most photos I saw of the black version with hints of brass looked quite cool. Don't want to do it on my 800, and it still somehow has no issues with the paint.
Sorry, just noticed your question. The wear is not uniform it seems to be worn mostly on edges. The grip would look good though it is a bit uneven in terms of the paint wearing off. I think I prefer the exposed sections more than the bits with paint still on them.
This versus the Zebra Delguard?
