From any of the Subway stores I went to recently, there is a stand outside stating this offer. I can't believe I am the only one seeing it, especially it is the popular BMT!
The deal may not be new to Brisbane, as this is where Subway's head office is, but it is a new deal to other states. It was the first day of this offer either today or on the weekend for Sydney. Its also a possibility that some particular stores may have a $7 BMT deal that is independent to Subways offerings/pricing.
Edit:
Looking at Subway's head Facebook page, it appears to have started today the 2nd of July, so I'm not sure what you saw, was it the other $7 subs such as the Pizza Sub?

+1 for Going to more effort than I could have bothered.
I've heard the Spanish one is better. ;)
Thanks! Lunch tomorrow sorted. :-)
Tried it last night. Not bad but I prefer the pizza sub.
It's cheaper too, since the Pizza is already $7 every day.
The only discount here is the BMT and even then it's not a massive saving.
Some weeks ago Chicken Fillet was on special for $7. That was a bigger deal since Chicken Fillet normally costs more than BMT.
The promo has been there across Brisbane for a while.
