  • Fun game but the last boss was impossible to beat.

And I’ve completed all Fromsoft games.

Thanks! I got that Switch pricing error the other week but my god does it chug along at <20fps on that hardware..
I considered that a demo of sorts before I pick it up properly on PS5/PC :P

$21 with the perks voucher + shipping aint bad at all!

I haven't gotten very far myself, too many other games on my immediate backlog.

But from what I've read and seen in gameplay performance analysis videos, the worst performance on the Switch version is mainly limited to the prologue chapter, which has large connected open areas and non-stop rain effects running in the background.

Beyond that, the game runs at reasonably consistent 30fps for the most part, with occasional dips to 27fps, and rare dips to 25fps. Certainly not consistently <20fps.

      • But where's the drama in that explanation???

      • Fair enough, I guess this is a testament to how bad I am that I've only really played the prologue and chapter 1 so far 😬
I did look up some of those videos also and am wondering if they were running it in it's handheld 480~720p mode, because I couldn't replicate the performance they were achieving on my TV - being a docked only player :/

Good to hear it gets better later on, but in the first proper stage after the intro it still wasn't great either though; texture pop-ins when turning the camera and several scenes where the performance suffered quite a bit (There's one instance where you leap from one building to another and crash through a balcony which gets into the <15 range during the cinematic, the following combat that starts right away stays at that rate for about ~8 seconds or so until it gradually fixes itself back up to 30fps)

I guess I'm just a little particular (or critically harsh..) about the performance in my games, especially fast paced precision fighters that rely on frame perfect counters.

  • Wanted to pick this up for ages but unfortunately starting up world of warcraft and league of legends again with my new laptop and not enough time as is 🤣 thanks though op!

  • Says it's available in store at my local store (35km away) but not available for click and collect. Whaaat?

    • same wtf

  • Sorry, one or more of your items are unavailable for delivery. Please remove it above or try a different delivery method.

To eastern suburbs of Melbourne. That’s annoying.

    • Same here to Castle Hill NSW. I wanted to grab Kena as well. Sifu apparently in stock at Castle Towers and Castle Hill HOME, but can't even choose either of them during the checkout process for pickup.

Oh well, they miss out on my purchase.

Wow, $49 for Kena is really sweet!

If you'd like, I live near Castle Hill and could try and pick up a copy for you - PM me.

        • That's nice of you, but unfortunately, there's no stock of Kena nearby, the next closest store is Bondi.

I'll pop into Castle Hill HOME tomorrow to check on Sifu though.

          Much appreciated otherwise.

Annnddddd….this is why you have a disc based ps5.

  • Why aren't there any stores doing click and collect?

It's weird. I can see the game is in stock at multiple locations but none of the stores want to do click and collect.

  • Unavailable click & collect at my local store. Then I came in & purchased last copy today! Glad this game got easy difficultly update. Thanks OP.

  • when in to grab the last copy, also had no CC available thanks. Used my perk code too so super worth it. Steel box, arts book and soundtrack codes
