Hi All, this is my first post.
Mountain Designs are doing 40% off Salomon footwear. Free Alliance Club Membership Required.
I was looking for a pair of Salomon Quest Mid GTX. Original price was $280. Mountain Designs club member price is
$167.99 after the 40% discount. Anaconda did a price match for me in store and it ended up costing $151.19

Lol. I read the title as salmon footwear for a second.
Good deal, thanks for the post
Just a word of warning for people like me with fat feet - Salomon shoes tend to run a bit narrow. Made this mistake before and learnt the hard way.
Yeah, I read something about the shoes I bought on Amazon being wide. Bought them and while I can get them on, I have to wear the thinnest of socks and I still feel like I'm undergoing some sort of foot binding.
Salomon have wide fit shoes as well dont they? Have you tried their wide ones?
And any other recommendations? Keen and Merrell?
Using those foot measuring thingos, my feet are +3 or +4 sizes in width than length…I have chode feet! 🤣
Salomon's "wide" shoes are STILL narrower than most normal shoes. Keen and Merrell are both great for wider feet.

Not sure about keen and personally I don't find them attractive but Merrell are fantastic on my wider feet. I'll never go another brand after the great Salomon mishap of 2021.
Mishap?
I got them really cheap so I didn't bother to return them. I'm tempted to get another pair in a 1/2 size up but will probably wait until I've blown my current ones out. Amazon seem to have steep discounts every year on them.
looking for them xt6 adv, but not with anaconda.
unlikely to find any of the popular colourways on sale as they have been selling out pretty quick
Wide Quests/Salomons ain't very wide.
Some dedicated hiking stores don't even bother selling the regular width Quests in Australia - they just don't suit the Australian foot.
If you've got wide feet, don't bother!
For those looking for Salomon shoes. Amazon are discounting some now
I prefer these to Tuna Footwear.
