  • How is this for big hands? I use a deathadder and it cradles my hands quite well for comparison.

    • +4

I have large hands and g pro is just too small to be comfortable long term. I stuck with the g502 lightspeed regardless of the weight difference

      • I'd say the g603 is the smallest I'm happy with.
Anything smaller is a no go for me.

      • what else do you have thats large

    • +1

Not sure, sorry. I was after a new gaming mouse and found this as a great deal.

    • Dimensions?

    • I settled on this and am happy with it. Bigger would be better but they are usually heavy, so if you prefer a mouse that is also lightweight then I recommend this. I use a claw grip and from palm to middle finger tip is 22cm if that helps.

    • Depends how big you're talking. I used a Deathadder before upgrading to the G PRO and it suits me perfectly. For context, I'm 6' 2" and I guess I have hands that match that height?

    • I have large hands and its the best mouse I've used, but I'll wait till the super light version goes on sale

Good discount, although it is regularly around the $140-150 mark. Like most Logitech products, the RRP is inflated.

100% agree - $279.95 for a mouse is just crazy talk

Was looking at this mouse to replace my glorious model o but couldn't justify the price even on sale. For $79 i got a second hand razer basilisk ultimate with the charging dock in excellent condition, weight wont bother me as i dont play fps on computer.

    • What was wrong with the model o? I've been looking at getting one hahaha

      • Nothing wrong with it! I wanted a wireless mouse and i got the glossy version instead of matte which attracts more marks and feels a bit lessy grippy. Overall for the price a pretty solid mouse with good rgb.

      • I have a model o wireless. got it off a friend that heated it. I kinda have to agree its… horrible. I've recently tried a brand new wired model o and found the same issues.
The good: Lite. Tracking. and shape.
The bad: build quality. Buttons are horrible (very cheap feeling). The scroll wheel clicks in extremely easily, while not being very smooth. backwards and forward buttons again feel very cheap ($5 dell mouse territory). Software is bare bones and glitchy. Rgb lighting is pretty bad too (lot of hot spots on the lightbars going down either side).

        • Id agree with most points of this, it is a cheaper mouse though so quality control probably isnt the greatest. Stretching your budget for something a bit better is ideal.

          • @Shanetrain: It's cheaper, but it isn't cheap. And lets not forget the g-pro is insanely overpriced. I like my gigabyte products but boy it is hard to stomach the price.

            • +1

@jake93s: You can regularly pick the model o up for $50-60 which in my opinion is pretty damn cheap for a mouse but yes depending on your budget and no sale its $80 or so. The razer basilisk ultimate still retails for around $150 so definitely a big leap. I love a good bargain though so id never pay $140 for a mouse.

              • +1

@Shanetrain: have to agree with you on that. $50 for the model o wireless is great value. At that value all my complaints about it disappear.

                • @jake93s: Id still prefer to pick up a more reliable wireless mouse second hand like i did with the razer basilisk.

how is this mouse still at this price with other ultra light mice and ones without double clicking issues available?

  • +2

PDD and taobao sell this model in double 11 shopping festival for $60,
at this price, the new model x superlight version can be consider as bargin deal, but personally is not a good deal for me

  • Have they made any improvements to their switches? I've had one where it suffered double click issues about 5 years into it.

FYI not the last gen superlight version

  • +1

Mine lasted between 1.5 to 2 years before the side buttons developed a double click, I use the mouse like 12 hours a day between work and play. Other then the double click it was a very comfortable mouse, would still be using it if the side buttons didn't mess up.

Bought myself the updated model "G Pro X Wireless Superlight" for around $185 from Amazon. I'm surprised how much better the clicks feel and how noticeably lighter it is.

  • The upgraded g pro x superlight was $155 a couple months ago: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/725515

  • out of topic but can anyone recommend me a mice that has quieter clicking sounds? I use a Glorious Model O for reference and the clicks are too loud.

Maybe also a keyboard with quieter presses. Can be any size, maybe more than 60% though because I use Annepro at the moment.
