Sandisk is a shocker, absolute cheap garbage. Stopped buying them after they kept failing on me. I think only one Samsung evo micro SD card (64GB) has even failed on me and that's after 4+ years of video recording. Other 64GB cards are still going well after 5+ years of video recording.
Sandisk died on me after 1.5 years and that was just normal use, no video recording.
Cheap Sandisks (Ultra's) are rubbish - they used to regularly fail for me. I will say that the Extreme's have been fine.
I moved to the Samsung's a couple of years back and they've been rock solid.I agree, I have had multiple failures of Sandisk Ultra micro SD cards. Samsung micro SD cards have not failed yet for me.
Maybe mention this looks like an all time low Amazon price?
write speed?
What would be the difference between this card and a micro SD slotted into a SD adapter?
Huge difference in terms of writing small files. Better google it to get more details.
Interestingly even though this comes from the US, it's out of stock on US Amazon. Ordered a couple.
The Samsung Pro Plus line of full size SD cards are also pretty well priced: https://www.amazon.com.au/SAMSUNG-Plus-256GB-MB-SD256K-AM/dp…
- 256GB: $57.66
- 128GB: $27.71
+$5 or so if you want the SD card USB reader.
videos on this one VS old sandisk extreme pro (the old version 95mb, not 170mb or 200mb)

How does this compare in terms of performance and durability vs the sandisk sd cards
