Terrible it's whole life? What's it been doing? Lifting skirts?
Hahahaha that was an uplifting comment
And jacking off simultaneously
Having used prolift jacks in the past they will most likely still be shit. Save your pennies and get a better unit imo
I actually got one of these from Bunnings and if you're just changing oil or basic DIY stuff like that it's been pretty good for what you pay.

only use for this one is if you need a cheap second jack to balance something like a rear diff cradle or whatever otherwise its useless as a jack. i have one and it doesnt roll under any of my cars and the head of it is tiny so not really useful other than used for balancing
I agree, I've had similar and these are a struggle to use for jacking up the front of a car. Better to get the Pro-Lift Alum / Steel Trolley Jack or similar with dual pump, longer handle, bigger lifting head - it makes a big difference but of course these are much more expensive in comparison.
And twice the price at least.
Don't get me wrong, I am here to hang sh!t on this jack too, cos pretty sure I got my small SCA one for 20 bucks back in the day and it's the same as this, but it will lift a car for an oil change if it's not too low
There's no way this jack is 80 bucks, RRP is crazy
For $80. Repco living up to its acronym. Ripping Every Poor C**t Off
Mine failed after a year and a half. (pro lift speedy lift). Would only jack up the car half way.
Pro-Lift = Junk
Bro, do you even Pro-lift?
Agree with the other comments - shit quality. For $40 though I think you'd be hard pressed to find anything better.

So pretty good value over all? A solid 5 out of 7?
Do you even lift bro?
$39 Save $40
Link shows $63.20, so Save $24.20
Title is misleading…
it's in 3 days
Still, the 'savings' is wrong
what about one of these 1.5T Aluminium jacks from ebay, are they any good?

Looks good, don't think he'll be around long tho
Bought one of these in a similar deal and after a few uses it would slowly lower itself under load. Always use jack stands but a jack alone should be able to stay up permanently.
Save up for when the dual pump low profile jacks go on sale
So when this jack has a full load, it slowly jacks off?
The only thing I'd use this jack for is to replace the small scissor jack that is in your car boot to replace the tyre for the spare in case of a flat. Other that that, it is pretty bad. The jacking platform being so small actually exerts pressure on the car's crossmember, causing the car's crossmember it to dent after a few uses.
Ok so the consensus is that this is pretty crappy.
Whats a decent one thats not super expensive?I have this jack and it leaked after a few use only. Being a DIY user few uses meant it was just over 12-month warranty period when i noticed the leak, took it to Repco and their customer service was pathattic, it was just few days over 12 month and they were very strict about it.
Guess what that was the last time i bought anything from them. other stores like SCA and autobaurn might be as crappy when it comes to after-sales customer services, but since i haven't had any bad experience yet i am still happy with them.
I terms of good jack my recommendation would be to buy low profile toolpro from SCA, there are few variants and they often come on sale on this forum and are very popular as well.
Avoid this if you can.
Thanks man. I got the low pro tool pro recently. I should try it out in case I got a lemon. Time to try and paint those brake calipers…. :)
I have a prolift 1800kg jack and it's been terrible it's whole life. If you are going to use this sparingly it may be ok
