I have upgraded from Sony Bravia 55” 55x7000d and can confirm that the TCL has great picture quality.

This is 2022 model and comes with Google TV with latest updates. I have found it to be snippy and great. Furthermore, if you are really into it, you can use a AppleTV, firestick etc and use the hdmi-cec (turn on in settings) to turn on the TV directly into the AppleTV, firestick etc and use one remote respectively.

    Thanks op bought one for upstairs tv.
    I have an older 85 inch TCL downstairs, once you stop using the built in Google tv it's fine so buy a Chromecast ultra etc.
    Signed up for the good guys cash not sure how that works maybe they link it with your mobile?

      TCL all are 3 year warranty.

      Linsar was a UK brand made in Turkey now owned by Aussie company Tempo

        I just had a $50 StoreCash rejected as they said I'd not activated it, even though The Good Guys card thing it's in my Digital Wallet and there are multiple SMS requests to set it up - I screenshotted both and sent through and they still said it wasn't set up.

        It's a complete rort, it's been more than three weeks since my purchase and they're avoiding trying to fix it.

        Will not deal with them again, they've lost me as a customer for life.

    Bought this from HN 2-3 weeks ago for $1130 + HN $100 gift card..
    TV tuner back light looked like it was flickering and picture awful to dark. Standard 571i looks total crap pixelated.
    Pluged in my Mecool DVB tuner to HDMI and looks decent.
    Stream a 1.4Gb movie in size on 2.4G WIFI looks really good from PC.
    Plex NAS Cat6 to TV all good

    After 2-3 weeks still using Mecool tuner. disabled Google Tv. The TV was turning on at 2AM in the morning

    Coming from a 6 year old TCL 65"

    75" is only 180mm wider and 90mm taller than 65"
    Knowing now I would of been better either getting a 65 or 85
    I wouldn't buy another 75

      The turning on randomly is a TCL thing - it's been there forever in their older models, including many other bugs which remain unresolved. Just pathetic they still can't even fix a basic problem like that.

    Not sure if anyone else had issues with Real Ca$h claim.

    Purchased Saturday online but couldn't C&C so got it delivered today.
    Couldn't do the Real Ca$h claim as it said i wasn't eligible but i am as per the Ts and Cs. Tried calling up, useless. Ended up going through live chat and they advised "It appears there might be an error with our Bonus Offers page preventing you from claiming this promotion. I will go ahead and manually add you to the fulfilment list for this promotion" So i need to wait for an email from their promotional partner igo no later than next Thursday (24/11) with further information.

    TCL $100 claim done also, now awaiting the $70 Store Cash which is every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month :)

      Their website is having issues, looks like it.
      I claimed the realCash and worked fine. But I couldn’t open the digital receipt initially so had to call the local store who sent it in email.

                    @tmntz2018: Yea, item must be purchased by 15th Nov, you can still claim it. As mentioned above, I couldn’t open the Receipt through the sms link, called the store, they sent the receipt in email. They said website has issues, they know.

                    Got the realCash and TCL cashback both approved.

    Got this TV right at end of the Bing Lee Singles Day 11% off and 10% Cashrewards cashback as well as 10% giftcard (only 3 months to use…) and TCL $100 cashback card. So like $608 all in. Just need to pick up, but seems like quite a bit of mixed feedback above. not clear how much of that is feedback from previous models and how much on this specific model.

    Anyone who bought this TV, any feedback (beyond OP Starlord) as to how works, any image settings, etc?

    My friend got the 75P735 and I got the 65C835.
    This 75inch speakers are not so good, so you've got a connect with the good sound system and it becomes so much better. The colours and quality is much better on 65C835 model, hence the higher price. 65C835's sound is better with the inbuilt onkyo subwoofer and speaker. I already feels like 65 is not big enough, so everyone Should get the 75C835.

    Has anyone got their store cash yet? I got email yesterday saying storecash has been qualified and been added in to the good guys digital wallet. But when open it only shows goodguys store cash wallet and no option to see the barcode. I have been to the local store and they have no idea about this. Seriously this is the worst loyalty promo ever seen and very complicated.

            @davidl820: Actually I just checked the terms again and they outline the rewards twice. The first time it stipulates that you will get a gift card from the same store you purchased the product from. But a few paragraphs down it says that there is a choice between different store gift cards or a digital VISA card. Either way I'm probably stuck with the TGG card since it does say that.
