Waiting for someone to contact head office about it. Not mentioning any names

      • +2

I just called my friend the president of the international police. He said well done for querying this and you can never be too careful. Long story short your credit cards are safe and all orders will be cancelled in due course.

  • lets gooooooooo

  • +3

Posted too early, 7pm would have been better lol

    • Delonghi have stopped stacking from working. :(

    • +3

What does conflicts with gov corporate policies mean?

      • +1

My uncle works for Delonghi and said the code couldn’t be shared

    • +1

      wHAT YOU ON about Bruh?

    • I’m for it to be removed if mods say so

I already bought a few the other days so won’t be using this code

      • Thanks for posting, true ozbargainer share the love

    • Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhah

    • That's a joke we don't get.

    • +1

      Are you ok?

I see the makings of an enduring ozbargain reference with this post.

I might go boil my bathwater on the park bbq to celebrate.

    • I actually reported your comment as illegal/inappropriate.

    • Lol

    • Go wash your mouth out with soap and hand in your OzB licence.

  • +8

Seems like they fix the stack code glitch, can only use one code now but 40% off still pretty decent

    • Frenzy code starts at 7pm

      • +6

I tried to stack with “Thanks10”, it only recognizes one code so pretty much 40% off is the best we can get now, still decent price

      • is that 7pm AEST?

    • +1

Yep valid codes still all apply but seems like the discount is only based on the last code entered.

Won't need to be overly FOMO now about grabbing a Soul with only 40% off the first time this deal came around… :'D

      • +1

Mate, I was so annoyed I missed it the first time (checkout page redirected to an error page), so pretty much clicked through, entered code and bought straight away this time within seconds - the item was still in the cart too haha.

        • the item was still in the cart too haha.

          which item?

          • @[Deactivated]: The item he added to cart but missed out last time due to slowness/hesitation?

  • Like the previous AusPost deal, looks like a Downer EDI Friends & Family code

    • Any ideas where you find the code from? Can't find any affiliation.

    • +1

      who are downer ??

    • +1

I got the Primadonna soul for 1350 odd retails for 2199

      • +1

Whats the difference between this and the Magnifica Evo
        And is it worth upgrading?

        Thanks

  • +1

Got my Primadonna from last deal, in love with it.

    • Whats the difference between this and the Magnifica Evo
      And is it worth upgrading?

      Thanks

    • Damm, $1300 for a coffee machine is still expensive hahhaha

It'd take me alot of pods to pay that off! I know the coffees way better but hell

      • +1

Yeah, $1300 is way too much for the coffee they produce.

Chuck your money into a Breville or similar.

        • +3

The Delonghi is a better product than the Breville.

          • +2

@pharcyde: Im talking about the manual machines.

I dont actually own a Breville, but have 2 Delonghi autos.

While convenient, the coffee is average at best. My missus prefers Nescafe Gold instant. Definitely not worth >$300.

Problems - shot size is too small, cant set the tamp pressure.

Breville manual machines produce a much better/ cafe quality product. Dont take my word, look at the reviews below, then look at the Breville BES reviews.

The Delonghi manual machines dont review well.

        • +1

I've had better results with a cheaper Delonghi than a Breville

    • Agreed x 100!!!!!

  • Can anyone recommend which Nespresso machine to buy. Thanks

  • Massive FOMO from the last one, bought a new coffee machine even though my old one is still fine

  • just ordered a machine

is it legit? Will I get my order?

    • Got delivery notice from the last one on a magnifica s with no stacking

    • +1

I received my order from the previous post. It's legit.

    • My portable aircon from the last deal (46% off) was delivered today.

    • +1

I highly doubt you can make much of a profit by reselling a coffee machine. Not worth the effect to combat with the low ballers on FB marketplace.

      • -5

        Oh okay

Nespresso before got cash back and then return to retailer for refund

        • +1

Wow, scraping the bottle of the barrel here huh?

        • -4

          Hahaha neggers please

          • @Poor Ass: I dont neg anyone but using cash back to make a measly delayed profit?

You're better off going outside for a walk when it comes to a more valuable use of your time.

            • -4

              @tallkid123: Bought 2 machines

              Lodge separate claims

Got 2x$50 in the bank after 7 days

Returned machine unopened for full refund

              Measly depends on who

              Pretty happy with the $100

              • +1

@Poor Ass: Good work. If there is money for the taking anyone that ignores it needs their head checked.

              • @Poor Ass: I believe cashback goes by serial code? This will be a problem for the next person who buys your machine…

                • @b0b0: Possible but that ain't my issue anymore

I suspect cash back period would be over by then anyway

They fixed the loophole so you can't actually get money deposited in you bank anymore

      • There was a deal last time where you made a $9 profit via cashback through stacking codes

    • +1

Are you the type of bloke that picks out recyclable bottles out of the public bins?

      • No but I do get the 10c for my own

    • +1

      username checks out

    • Hypocrites everywhere!
People judge you for making profit of cashback (yes it is scummy), yet there are thousands here who have the audacity to use a corporate code for an organisation they have never worked for their entire life. Oh the the double standards here are stupidly high 🤦‍♂️
Either be an ethical bargainer or don't be one at all. People need to stop playing the bad cop when they themselves are just as bad.

      • +1

Is it because the suggestion is around profiting from cashback by returning the item and possibly depriving whomever buys the item next from actually getting the cashback?

        • -2

          Too bad.

          They can chase it up.

          Dog eat dog world.

        • @chocobros Does it not occur to you that then by accesing this deal you are taking it away from someone who is a legit employee and has not had an opportunity to access the benefit themsleves?

I don't condone what this guy does but rest of you vultures are just as bad. So people judging him should cut the pathetic double standards.

          • @thousandsuns: @thousandsuns does it not occur to you that I may have not used this deal?

You posted a comment and I offered you a potentially different perspective to what you were able to fathom. Not sure why you are calling me a vulture…

Maybe you need to chill and sip on some coffee

            • +1

@Chocobros: I didn't mean to target you as per to say so my bad if that's how it came across. Everyone here is a vulture. Nobody cares how they get the deal as long as it works in their favour.

      • Well said

  • +12

Thanks, just got the Delonghi Magnifica Evo Fully Automatic for $599.

    • I have this one at home from last deal. You will love it.!!!

  • Currently trialling a Philips 4300 LatteGo and about to be returned so thinking about taking a punt on this deal.

Does anyone have any experience with the Primadonna vs the Eletta? I like iced coffee and am wondering whether the Eletta makes a decent version?

    • +1

      Why you returning it?

      • I bought it to trial out a fully automatic machine. Bought it during the 90 day money back promotion and want to try something with more functions.

        • +2

Doesn't really answer the question though… Do you not like the taste etc..?.. is there something specific you're after function wise? It's not really a good reason to return a machine just because you want to trial it

          • @Darkhour: Probably that’s why I paid for a brand new but received a used coffee machine from Amazon because of the 60 days obligation free trial offered by Philips.

            • @wtfnodeal: im confused… is Naed your other account?

              • @Darkhour: What has confused you? People like Naed take advantage of using new automatic coffee machines for 90 days for free and the real customers end up buying the used machines returned by the previous customers like Naed because the traders don’t want to bare the loss and resell them as new machines to other customers.

                • @wtfnodeal: you replied as if you were Naed… if not, and you are simply recounting your like experience, then thats all well and dandy, but I was actually keen to know what Naed's reason for returning the unit was. To return it for the hell of it seems a poor reason if there wasn't anything wrong with the unit. It there was, then i'd be keen to know what..

                • +2

@wtfnodeal: TBF it's on the companies to make sure they are not sending out refurbished products as new and marking listings for refurbished products clearly, not on the customers returning them.

                  • @cheng2008: True. Those traders if they cannot afford to take the loss from the obligation free returns by unsatisfied customers they shouldn’t have offered it in the first place. However, if customers never intend to buy any coffee machines before and after trialling them to begin with anyway shouldn’t be abusing such system either.

          • +2

@Darkhour: My standard drink is a flat white. The 4300 seems to be a great machine and I'd likely keep it if I liked foamy coffees, but not my preference. I read a detailed review prior to purchasing that sounded like I'd be able to make a good flat white but I couldn't replicate it myself.

The 90 day money back guarantee is exactly for trialling the machine. I'd agree their intent isn't to allow people to essentially rent the machine for 3 months for the price of return shipping but that's not what I've done in any case.

    • +2

All delonghi machines use the same brew head.

So all make the same actual coffee.

Comes down to extra options. Ie. Auto milk froth vs doing it yourself with a wand.

Reality is you will pay $1000 more for an LCD screen. End product no different.
