New model which has been recently released. Essentially last year's LG C1 OLED model with this year's newer processor. I believe the C2 will probably get to this price range come Black Friday but this is a good price when you add the real cash promotions.
Well they have extended the sale until Thursday. So I personally will assume the prices will only get cheaper over the next few weeks. Imagine the CS under 4k or G2 close to 5k 😎

Thanks mate, but if you are not living under a rock, there are plenty of decent TV for lesser price that are not CRT. I am not saying OLED is bad or anything, its great. I have a 42 C2 in mind as a monitor eventually, but 5K is Damn lot of money.
Spending around 2k on a monitor yet a TV everyone can enjoy at once around 5k is somehow bad?
Plenty of very good monitors for $500…. So why doesn't that suit your logic for something decent? How many people spend $2k on a monitor? 0.1%? Probably a hell of alot less than who buy TV's at $5k…
@scuderiarmani: That monitor would be monitor+ TV+ Gaming TV etc for me. But I havent purchased it yet considering the price. Also 42 goes down as much as 1700 on sale. I already have a 500$ monitor hence the hesitation to proceed with 1.7K TV monitor. 5K is a whole different ball park. Thats why I said I can never imagine spending that much. Not others imagining spending that much.
