Which means random shitty Chinese electronics / "solar" items.

      • -1

Did you really have to specify ‘Chinese’? I thought we were past that

        • -6

Hmm. Sure. Shitty electronics. No need to say where they are from…

Jack is back on the menu?

    • +3

      Jack never left town, buddy.

    • +1

It should not be as I believe this is an eBay fully funded promo (similar to the last flash code). Of course there'd be some opportunistic jackers but that can't be helped.

  • Knock knock…

    Who's there?

    Jack.

    • you don't know jack.

  • Seems they have not reached the sales target?

This one worked well last time. Thanks.

  • Looking to get this keyboard, will it be eligible for the 10% discount? https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/175296137833?_trkparms=amclksrc%…

  • Would there be apple products included here?

    • It should per OP’s description

as close to site-wide as can be

    UNLIKE Last time

when you spend $80 or more(excluding postage costs) in one transaction, up to a maximum discount of $300 per transaction.

Before it was only Spend requirement of $30 in terms and condition of the voucher

  • any deals on robot lawnmowers? and noise cancellation earbuds

  • +3

    Ebay can get Jacked.
Each time the deal seems to be getting worse and worse

  • How does eBay select what is eligible during the usual more limited sales? Do sellers get an email saying 'hey, all your stuff will attract a discount'?

I sell about $2k of stuff on eBay per month, yet as far as I know my items have never been eligible.

    • I would expect that the sellers fund the discount

    • +1

AFAIK, eBay only send emails to store sellers to invite to stores-only promos, in which case the stores contribute a big % of the discount (reading past comments) hence the price jackings. This is not one of them as similar past flash codes usually lasted only a day and apply to both store and private "eligible" sellers, hence my comment about this being a more genuine discount code.
If your stuff is "eligible" you'd see the discount msg under your ad.

when i used to sell about 2 years ago, i never got any info. But some of the items were in the categories that got the discount. I never had to fork out for any. I guess the discount paid itself with the fees sellers paid.

Luckily I always only sold on free listing of $1 final value. SO I got the benefit without paying for it. I wont sell anymore on their 13% fees now. Not worth it.

  • Hope those with C2CNOV now can be eligible for this

    • I believe so as that happened for OCTC2C and the last flash code.

      • Didn’t work for the item I am looking for. Too bad

  • eligible for private sellers?

    • I would think so as this should be similar to last week's 10% off flash code.

    Super cheap!

  • Can we see what is eligible without an eBay Plus account?

    • Yeah I just tried it, works to checkout after adding in the promo code, just can't finalised without the eBay Plus account.

  • Which one of you bought the Apple pencil I was looking at … dammit

  • Thank OP. I see there's no stated expiry date, but you mention similar past promos lasted one day. Does that mean expiry on the 9/11/22 or at midnight tonight (8/11)? Thanks

edit: all good. 'Show me how' prompt on items displays "Hurry, your voucher expires 09/11/2022."

    • +1

The flash code last week expired end of the same day.

  • There is only 1 left for $450 after the coupon on a supposedly brand new Dell 3060 ti which is pretty decent price I reckon.
