    Probably because of how prevelant WD were during the 2000s. Saturation of the market means they were ~50% of what you saw on the shelves back then.
    And their designs are still consistent with their original branding.

  Is this compatible with iPhones? I have a Samsung t7 touch ssd that works a charm on an Iphone but this is a great price as well
