This is probably the only lens you'll ever need, perfect!

Damn right. I use the 1.2 90% of time

Has been cheaper in the past (June this year) but prices might not get back there.

Can confirm that it's an enjoyable lens.

Great lens. Don't forget the 35mm GM is also on sale with cashback from Sony making it $1579. Definitely worth it if you need the best IQ and focus breathing comp.

  • hi, i'm starting a youtube journey and wondering if

1/ Sony ZV10 can be used for foodvlogging?
2/ Does it fit ZV10 and whether it fits to my purposes?

    • +3

      I assume you mean ZV-E10.

Yes, it can be used for food vlogging.

Yes, this lens can be used for the ZV-E10. But, keep in mind this is a full frame lens meaning you are paying a premium for it with no added benefit compared to an APS-C format lens.

I would go for the Sigma 16mm/F1.4 E mount lens ~$550 brand new (provided you don't intend to upgrade to a full frame camera at any point). It is equivalent to 24mm full frame. APS-C cameras have a crop factor of ~1.5x.

      • thank you dazzles

  • The 1.2 is so much better and worth the extra cost and weight.

  • I have the 40mm 1.2 of this and its awesome. The only issue for me is I have a Nikon mount and the converter isn't as a proper e-mount. Ooh I'd love to get this and swap out the Nikon mount one :(

And yeah, these lenses are heavy!
