Rtings.com are the only ones that'll give you an objective rather than anecdotal/subjective view.

The LG C1 OLED and the LG QNED90 use different panel technologies, each with strengths and weaknesses. The C1 uses an OLED panel, and as such, has a nearly infinite contrast ratio and no blooming in dark scenes, without the need for a local dimming feature. The QNED90, on the other hand, uses an LED backlight, so it doesn't look as good in the dark, but it's much brighter, so it might be a better choice for a bright room.
I cant comment on this one in particular,
But I just returned a 75 inch QNED91 which is "supposedly" a higher end model than this
It had very bad vertical banding and dirty screen effect.
This particular model does have very positive feedback from the North American reviews, who knows if the AU model is the sameas for comparison with OLED, well you can only get a 65 inch LG G2 with $4k
which is subjectively/objectively the best TV you can buy today, but tiny compared to 83 inchOLED - deep blacks, better contrast, expensive, darker compared to some (Q)LED/QNED tvs
QNED - grey-ish blacks, not as good in contrast, cheaper than OLED, brighter compared to some OLED
not true at all,
having owned both I can say black level and contrast are comparable
QNED has other problems as I mentioned aboveI have compared them side-by-side in store with the demo content and you can tell a difference when you focus on it. Blacks are where the difference is between the panels. What I mentioned above was my observations.
QNED 85 , being mini led best viewed from direct in front otherwise blooming could be issues
Just buy qd-oled
Just be rich
Just release 75" version
yeah just deal with the $6k price tag and tiny size and outdated chipset and slow laggy android TV interface
Samsung 85" Qled Q80B is $3,500 if anyone is interested
Hisense 85" ~$2200 at Costco
Hisense also bait and switch their AU model so any reviews that come out of America are for their vastly superior model.
I like the screen quality but hate the smart tv priority OS. You can get a TCL microLED with android for this sort of money
Q90B or this?
nvm, looks like Samsung is a clear winner here https://www.rtings.com/tv/tools/compare/samsung-qn90b-qled-v…
can anyone honestly give an appraisal of the quality difference between QNED vs OLED?
