Bought 2 days ago and received, I believe my one condition is as new, the battery cycle is 1. and looks like brand new. I think it is a good bargain for Apple Air.

Not a deal when there is only one available.

    • I bought one, and my colleague bought one as well, and it is still availble, I think apple sell them for space of new model.

Arguable bargain. The new model has the newer chip, 4000 HD integrated graphics and 2x USB 3.0 ports at the cost of 128GB of storage. It's also cheaper at $1350, more if you use an education or DSE discount.

    • This is a BTO Macbook Air that used to cost $1850 iirc.

I wonder why Apple have refurb BTO Airs.

  • Not sure its particularly a bargain. Their refurb store has such items all the time.

  • Got one as well. It is good stuff.maybe it is not sharp deal. However, the price is good and it suits for tax deduction purpose.

  • I thought, refurb'd products have only 3-mth hardware warranty ?

    • Apple refurbs are as good as new, and has the standard 1 yr warranty.

Just spotted this post so I thought I would add this. I was at DSE 92 Parramatta Road, Lidcombe, upstairs. they are closing down and there is very little left excepting some dvd's but there is 2 X demo/floor model macbook air there, sorry I do not have all the details (you could call the store for details before going) but one was a PRO and were selling for $1,100 and $1,200 the store close tomorrow last day so hope that helps if anyone in the market as you get full new warranty.

I'd be more worried about the screen and battery than the warranty on floor model laptops!

  • Well, this is not a great deal since all refurbs have a great price.

Yes I did not think of the battery always on charge. Well it was 70% off so the cost of a new battery and at 70% off so I think $1,100 down to about % $400 and buy a new battery, I don't know seems good to me but I am not a MAC person and I am not in the market for a new laptop, just thought I would mention it for those considering the refurbished ones. I do advise calling then first to get all the specs and make sure they are still there and the exact price. as it goes down every day.

doesn't seem like that great a deal considering it is refurb and an older model.

    • Even a $1 discount is considered a bargain from apple. Lol
