BWS: 20% Cashback ($30 Cap Per Member) @ Cashrewards

Special Terms:

During the 24 hour promo, cashback for BWS is capped at $30 in total per member account, irrespective of the number of transactions made. Valid 12am to 11:59pm AEDT 28/10/2022. Online only offer.

Cashback is ineligible on the following:

  • Champagne, Penfolds, non-alcoholic products (sparkling wine & non-alcoholic beer are eligible).
  • Orders paid partially/full with gift cards or Everyday Rewards dollars.
  • Purchases via the BWS mobile app.

    Taylors St Andrews is on special this week. 75-20=$55 each. Bought 2. $110-$22 cashbacks = $44 each. Plus 1600 points for spending over $60 = $8 which brought it down to $40 each. The wine is $75 regular price at BWS and $65 average elsewhere.

    A good deal if you like the product.

    Is anyone else experiencing issues with the BWS website?

    I can't check out, keep getting this error. Cleared cookies, tried both Edge and Chrome.

    Sorry we could not fetch balance of this Gift card. We're currently experiencing connectivity issues.

    There's nothing saved my payment methods, but it's weird it doesn't let me add a credit card.

    EDIT: Oh good now I can't even log in.

          I'm planning to order from BWS if I can get cashback, but it is a little cheaper elsewhere otherwise.

    • Had the same issue yesterday, gave up and went to purchase in store.

    • Yup I been getting the connectivity issue message since last time there was a CR deal with BWS. Got the same message today, I actually bothered to call the BWS customer service. They say they checked, and no issue on their end, and asked me to call CR.

      Just gonna wait for deals with the other booze vendors, 30min wasted is bit much…

    • Make sure VPN is turned off.. but it's better to use a different browser (firefox/edge/brave) with no VPN when dealing with BWS or Liquorland - they hate VPN's

    have issue login with desktop pc. try mobile phone but navigation is awful

    also linkage of EDR card cannot detect the use $10 EDR saving tab at the checkout.

        not even care about cashback.

        the error login is still current ongoing. seems login with a mobile phone setting or bws app will work.

        the use EDR$10 tab is currently not visible for the payment checkout

        problems already here since we use bws yesterday afternoon

        called bws customer care the guy said it not from us since login is working on mobile site and EDR$10 is problem with Everydayrewards not theirs. pretty sure it's bws issues

    I'd be waiting, as the economy goes into a death spiral the discounts will only get deeper as discretionary spending evaporates and traders become desperate. Yes, I'm an ecos grad (and a smartie!!) .. trolls don't apply .. 😂.. !!

    Cant checkout, get a "Connectivity Issues" error after hitting confirm in the checkout, oh well, no booze for me… (nice way to prevent people using the 20% cashback I guess)

        The site is broke. Tried with VPN off, multiple internet connections, with or without CR, firefox, edge, brave, chrome, mobile chrome.

        • I also had problems with chrome but it worked with brave and no VPN . I usually get an error message saying I can't log in when using VPN

            Please do not use Brave browser with any cashback program.
            It kills tracking by its very nature.

          • @x x: I don't get to the payment screen and I have never used gift cards with BWS… The error comes up when you hit confirm in the checkout, at the step where it goes to the payment page.. (no issues logging in like other people)

            Same error on Edge browser….

    • I managed to checkout but I had to make a new BWS account to do it…

      (Edit: thinking about it, I may have used a gift card on my old BWS account many moons ago, maybe the empty card is still sitting in the payment area of the account causing the checkout giftcard connectivity error)

  • So I’ve tried to use the Cashrewards app and desktop webpage and I can’t check out!!!

    Edit - So finally got it to work with using another BWS account. This better track as I have a few CR transactions of late not track when I have done everything correct and used no coupons etc and they have all have been disapproved after I had to manual lodge them.

  • I can checkout with credit card if I log out and use another email address.
    I cannot use my gift card though, it still breaks it after putting in the pin and hitting apply.

    CR still says 110 days for cash to be approved into account, which compares to 35 days for all the Coles stores (LL, FCL, VC etc).
    110 days is an eternity - why can't Woolies stores get their act together?

      My BWS account was on my old internode email and you cant change the email address on the BWS account, so I've been planning to make a new account on my Gmail address anyway… There were no issues reusing the same name/phone/DOB/address/EDR on the new account…

  • I was trying throughout the day to check out my purchase of a few hunnit dollars of booze for an upcoming party but was getting the same error as everyone else. Looks like BWS just saved me some $$…or not as I'll have to buy at full price now
