Hey Oz Bargain Community,

I'm so excited to announce the launch of our new featured rotating Single Origin coffee. Drum roll please…we've brought back our most requested SO region, Colombia. We've cupped (fancy coffee lingo for tasted) and test roasted several different Colombian coffees over the last few months searching for the right one. As you enjoyed the SO from this region so much last year and we really wanted to say thank you for your continued wonderful support, we've been working hard to level up the quality and clarity of flavour even more than last year. This Colombia Huila Single Origin we're launching today is so special I smile every time I have a cup. It's a double washed process (more info about this on the product page), resulting in an extremely clean, crisp and sweet coffee. To celebrate the launch of this magnificent SO we've got a fantastic 40% off deal for you, details below.

We're offering you a 40% discount off our newly launched outstanding Colombia Huila Single Origin, only $15.59 per 500g (usually $25.99 per 500g), and $27.59 per 1kg (usually $45.98 per 1kg), for orders placed until 01/11/2022. You can pick from the available green circle dispatch dates on the cart page. There's two or more available scheduled dispatch dates per week until the end of December currently available to reserve. Dispatch can happen for you as near as tomorrow (Friday) and as far as the last Friday in December. Once a given dispatch date is at full capacity the green circle will be removed and date will turn red, first in best dressed :)

  • Got my last order within three days and the tim tam too but squashed but beggers can't be choosers

    • +5

Terrific, love a speedy delivery, thank you so much for your order and sharing your speedy delivery feedback!

I'll have to remind the delivery companies that with precious cargo (fresh coffee and intact Tim Tam) "less haste, more speed" is the go, as we can't have your Tim Tam getting squashed :)

    • Me too, first crushed timtam in ~5 deliveries

      • +5

Oh no, perhaps someone from a competing biscuit company is intercepting deliveries to crush (apologies for the pun, too good an opportunity to miss) the competition…

  • +1

I love Lime Blue Coffee and Tim Tam Tom's customer service and cheery nature is unmatched elsewhere! But I'm very sad to see there's no decaf deal. I generally only buy when I can get my decaf fix sent at the same time :( Please consider running a decaf deal! Loved the EA, having the SWP sent in a few days time (phew), but keen to line up my next decaf order!

    • You could be like me and just order a 500g bag of decaf when you're buying whatever is on special. It might be enough to tide you through to the next deal, plus you're supporting the business by paying full price.

@Tom - is this the same Colombian that was in the recent mystery flight? If so, that made for an awesome cup 'o Joe!

      • Nice suggestion, nice words, thank @Chazzozz !

Wrapped to know how much you enjoyed the July Frequent Buyers Club Surprise Mystery Flight stop. This is a different Colombian to that one, different yet similar taste, but even more clarity of flavour as this SO is a double washed processed coffee. As you enjoyed the Colombian Mystery Flight stop so much, you should be in for a real treat with this one :)

    • +5

Morning @kati WOW what a wonderful, complimentary message to send, thank you so much. I'm so wrapped to know you "love Lime Blue Coffee" and our "cheery nature!!!"

Shucks, we can't have you sad. I can promise you we'll have a deal involving Decaf before the end of the year, I'm not sure of the exact date yet, but it will happen. Very happy to know you "loved the EA" and that you're covered with our SWP for the time being. At present we don't have enough Decaf in stock to run a deal for it, just enough to cover any full-price decaf orders. If you're ever about to run out @Chazzozz suggestion might be the go, may not ideally suit you but it may be better than the alternative of running out of the good stuff :)

      • Thanks Tom and good idea Chazzozz!

        • :)

    • +1

Plus one for a decaf deal please. Dietitian said I need to have less coffee :(

  • When does the coffee shipped out on the 30th Dec get roasted?

    • Great question, better safe than sorry!

We strive to dispatch all orders nice and fresh within 48 business hours of roasting. The days we roast varies from week-to-week, so it's a bit too early to tell you the exact day of roasting for 30th Dec dispatch. However, I can promise you the orders dispatched on 30th December will be roasted towards the end of December :)

      • Legend, thanks so much! My orders are in :-)

        • Fantastic, music to my ears, thank you so much for your orders!!!

  • +1

Put my order in, going to go express post this time as the previous order spent a fair bit of time in a warehouse after a failed delivery.

    • -1

Hey @simongibbo Thank you so much for placing another fantastic order with us, it truly means a lot!

Shucks, shame to hear about the sorting facility/warehouse delay. If the delivery was an Australia Post one you should have received an email or text the day of delivery with alternate delivery option if you wouldn't be able to accept delivery that day. If there's ever a delivery issue or delay in the future (hopefully there won't be) feel free to send a reply message to your tracking email and let us do the resolution legwork for you. Fingers crossed Express Post is a winner, it usually is :)

      • Just read this post. I agree shipit courier is very slow. ETA of my 31 October order is 7th November?? 😱 Given my location is in Melbourne, I thot it will be 2 days top. Thanks

        • Hey @Bargain-er thank you so much for placing an order with us!

As per my response to a comment further down (quoted below), please ignore the initial ETD. Even given yesterday was a Public Holiday in VIC your order should be delivered this week if all goes to plan :)

"please ignore any standard post ETD that you receive the day your order is dispatched, it's just the delivery company giving itself an easy target to achieve. Once your order has been processed through the first stage of the sorting facility, that update will give you a more accurate ETD. Metro Melbourne should likely be delivered in less than 1 business week, a decent amount of metro orders dispatched last week were delivered next business day, of course this is not always the case. For any future shipping questions related to a specific order it's best to send a reply message to your dispatch notification email, that way I can provide specific answers."

p.s. just to clarify, Shippit is just a software connecting our site to delivery companies network e.g. Australia Post, Shippit is not a delivery company itself

          • @LimeBlueCoffee: Yeah, waiting eagerly… Got no beans left… I dun want to run to Coles for a backup plan. Lol

  • Hi OP, what is ground espresso and ground filter? Which one i should choose for Delonghi Dedica manual coffee machine? thanks,

    • Nice questions, always best to check first!

The different options just represent different levels of grind coarseness, ground espresso would be my recommendation for you :)

      • Thanks OP. Ordered

        • Terrific, thank you so much, your order really is appreciated!

          • @LimeBlueCoffee: Hi LimeBlueCoffee,

Glad to see you supporting my people and their amazing coffee ;)

What would be the best for a french press, ground espresso or filter?

            Thanks!

            • +1

@Dicci: Fantastic, thank you so much, so happy to know you're finding our fresh coffee to be "amazing" ground filter with an note in the "special instructions for seller" box on the cart page saying "french press" should be the winning combo for you :)

  • +2

I received my last coffee order Brazil São Paulo Single Origin yesterday . I can easily say this is one of the best coffee I have tasted that too on my kogan coffee machine , even better than some baristas .

I am excited to try this new single origin , you guys are doing an amazing job . Thank you guys

    • Yes, I would also love a light roast sweet/acidic for filter specific!

      • Hey @dcuksuop I believe you're following up to @CheapCoffee comment below?

This SO is still an omni-roast, but by the sounds of it I believe is more up your alley than our Brazil SO for filter, see the comparisons below :)

        Colombia Huila Single Origin
        Fruit 1 to Chocolate 10 Flavour Scale = 6.5
        Sweetness = Brown Sugar
        Acidity = Green Apple

        vs.

        Brazil São Paulo Single Origin
        Fruit 1 to Chocolate 10 Flavour Scale = 9-10
        Sweetness = Honey
        Acidity = Milk Chocolate

        • Oops yes meant to reply to @CheapCoffee.
Thanks for the feedback, just ordered 1kg, can't wait to try!

          • @dcuksuop: No stress, easy to do, just wanted to make sure we're on the same page and I hadn't somehow missed a comment chain somewhere else :)

Terrific, thank you so much, hope you absolutely love this SO :)

    • Morning @dealmonger :)

WOW, talk about knocking my socks off, what wonderful, complimentary feedback to receive!!!

Thank you sincerely for placing another order with us, sharing that outstanding feedback and your vote of confidence too, it really does mean so much to the team. Very happy to know you're excited about this new SO, we hope you love it :) :) :)

  • Thanks for the coffee supply as usual Tom. I stuffed up orders before and Tom was very helpful in the past so just echoing everyone elses feedback too.

Question - I know you go for omni-roast profile but I did find it a little bit too roasted for me in the past for filter brewing methods. Please correct me if I am wrong, I think you may have mentioned in the previous post that the next SO would be potentially better for filter brewing methods. Is this Colombia SO what you were referring to?

    • +1

      Hey @CheapCoffee

You're most welcome, thank you for your orders and sharing that positive feedback, it's truly appreciated!

From an extraction perspective, all our profiles are designed to work well with both espresso and filter methods. As such I believe the "too roasted" comment translates to perhaps the coffee your commenting about (I assume our Brazil SO) being a bit too chocolaty or not as high in acidity as you'd ideally prefer for filer? If my assumptions are correct then this Colombia SO (yes this is the one I was referring too) should hopefully be a winner for you. This Colombia SO is more towards the fruity end of the scale and has notably more acidity than our Brazil SO, for ease of reference see the comparisons below :)

      Colombia Huila Single Origin
      Fruit 1 to Chocolate 10 Flavour Scale = 6.5
      Acidity = Green Apple

      vs.

      Brazil São Paulo Single Origin
      Fruit 1 to Chocolate 10 Flavour Scale = 9-10
      Acidity = Milk Chocolate

      • Thanks mate. Describing coffee is always a fun game of Chinese whispers without cupping them yourself! Will definitely give this one a shot.

  • Hi just wondering what is best blend for cafe latte thanks Sam

    • Hey @bansharkfin appreciate the question, little tricky to answer perfectly…

From an technical extraction resulting in flavour cutting through milk, all our current offerings will work equally for milk based coffees (latte). From a flavour perspective our Brazil São Paulo Single Origin probably pairs best with milk comparatively speaking, but that's no to take away from the ability of our other offerings making delicious milk based coffees. At the end of the day the best option from our offerings for a latte is down to your subjective taste preference. Might be a good idea to check out our handy "Fruit 1 to Chocolate 10 Flavour Scale" guide on our product pages to point you in the right direction :)

  • +1

Giving you guys a go as Inglewood has been pretty slack with their discounts at the moment.

    • Terrific, thank you so much for the order and opportunity, it really does mean so much :)

  • Hi whats the best blend for a cappucino? Don't like it too strong

    • Hey @eatcroissants appreciate you reaching out to check!

When it comes to coffee, "strong" is a relative word which could mean a range of things e.g. some people think strong means bitter, some think for a cap it means they'd like more of a milk than coffee flavour…Just so I can target my answer in a helpful way could you please elaborate as to whether you like more chocolate, fruity or in the middle flavours? Whether you perceive strong as bitter or strong as the coffee flavour overpowering the milk? For your cap do you prefer the primary flavour to be coffee, milk or a nice balance between to two?

      • I mean strong when the coffee overpowers the milk.

I'd like more chocolate flavour and a nice balance of the coffee and milk.

        • +1

          Perfect, very helpful info!

Great news is all of our offerings aim to balance nicely with milk. More of a chocolate flavour leans towards our Brazil SO Fruit 1 to Chocolate 10 Flavour Scale = 9-10. However, if you don't mind a bit of fruity notes in your coffee then I believe you also really enjoy our Colombia SO Fruit 1 to Chocolate 10 Flavour Scale = 6.5 :)

  • @Op what is the best type for Moka pot? Ground espresso?

    • Nice double check, you're spot on, "ground espresso" should be the winner for you :)

      • 2kg columbian ordered :)

        • Amazing, thank you so much, your terrific order does mean a lot!

  • Perfect timing and my first time with you guys :-*

    • +1

Music to my ears, got to love "perfect timing!"

Thank you so much for placing your first order with us, it really does mean so much and is an opportunity we own't take for granted :)

  • +1

Any free shipping on the Brazil beans? They sound more what’s needed for milk but shipping kills it for trying. Thanks!

    • +1

Hey @MerlinKlendatu appreciate you reaching out!

To clarify, our Brazil SO does work extremely well with milk, however that's not to take away from our other products availability to cut through milk. This Colombian SO is delicious for milk based coffee too :)

Completely understand shipping is no fun to pay and I used to dislike paying shipping, but then I analysed it from a value of time perspective and realised paying shipping is a bargain. For example, our cheapest flat rate shipping cost is $6.99 vs. driving to a store and parking (15 minutes) + going to the store picking up what I need (10 minutes) + then going back to my car driving home and unloading (15 minutes) = total of 45 minutes means compared to $6.99 for delivery, my time would be valued at ~$9.33 per hour to go to the store. I find time's too precious and life's too short to value at ~$9.33 per hour (9.325x.75=$6.993). Not sure if my approach is right or wrong, just my personal take on paying shipping. Also, if it's any consolation we subsidise our flat rate shipping cost AKA on average our shipping costs us more than we charge you :)

      • +1

Haha. Really appreciate your time in outlining this but it’s fairly flawed tbh. My life time is indeed worth a lot. Yet, I go grocery shopping now and then to grab multiple items, not just coffee beans. And paying more than 10% for shipping kills it. Why not make it free for 2KG and I go for it.

        • +5

haha to each their own, everyone's got a different system of grocery shopping and yes it can be good to go grocery shopping now and then in-person to mix it up. As mentioned it was just my personal take on shipping, not saying "my approach is right or wrong" :)

I'd love to go one better and make it free shipping on everything forever, however that would mean we'd be operating at a loss, which is not financially viable. I appreciate your feedback, but at present the economics don't work to offer free shipping for 2kg when a deal like this is running. The current AUD drop relative to USD (which is what coffee is traded in) plus increases in shipping costs and a number of other factors would mean a 2kg order with free shipping would make less order profit than a 1kg order and even a net loss on certain interstate orders too. The only way it would work financially to offer free 2kg shipping at present during a deal like this would be to reduce the quality of our coffee (which is not something we'd entertain) or an increase to overall product cost, which would impact the price of all order volumes. We know shipping cost is a sticking point for people. We're continually working hard to lower our shipping costs and pass the savings onto customers, it's a work in progress and we'll keep working at it!

  • Tried first time with the previous offer on Brazil beans. Really amazing coffee.

    • WooHoo that's amazing feedback to get, thank you so much, big smile on this side of the screen :)

  • Best blend for almond styled Cap?

    • Nice question!

From a flavour perspective all our offerings should make a delicious almond cap. Delving a bit deeper into the technical side of things, unless your almond milk has an acidity regulator (e.g. milk lab) more acidic coffees can split almond milk depending on the type and how it's textured. If there's no acidity regulator in your almond milk best bet may be to stick with our least acidic coffee, which is our Brazil SO :)

  • Pretty sure I had a bad shipping experience the first time around but I’m back anyway!

    • Shucks, that's no good, really appreciate you giving us another shot!

Thank you so much for placing another order with us, it really does mean a lot. If there's any issue at all with shipping in the future please don't hesitate to send a reply message to your tracking info email and we'll do our best to resolve the situation ASAP :)

  • Do tell this one any good for cold brew? Which of the Grind options should I select for this?

    Thank you

    • Yes, this one should make a tasty cold brew :)

Please select "ground filter" and add a note in the "special instructions for seller" box on the cart page saying "cold brew."

  • What happened to the free Tim Tam?

Just kidding. Will be placing an order.

    • No kidding about Tim Tams, they're serious business haha

Good news is there's still a complimentary bonus Tim Tam with each order, it's just not mentioned in this post. There was a time a little while back when supply was an issue, so it was a bit touch and go for the future of our complimentary Tim Tams, but for the time being they're still a part of the deal :)

Another order from you sounds terrific, thank you so much in advance!

      • Ha ha thanks for the freebie :)

        • :)

  • +2

Love your coffee but I don't drink enough coffee to justify the shipping cost. I would have to buy several kgs :/

    • +1

Wonderful to know you "love" our fresh coffee!

Completely understand you can only drink what you can drink and that shipping cost is never fun to pay. An option which may resolve your hurdles would be to order more than you'd consume in a month and freeze the unopened bags until you're ready for them. Freezing sealed bags of coffee can extend the freshness by months.

As mentioned above, "I used to dislike paying shipping, but then I analysed it from a value of time perspective and realised paying shipping is a bargain. Also, if it's any consolation we subsidise our flat rate shipping cost AKA on average our shipping costs us more than we charge you :)"

    • +5

Really? I think $6 is perfectly reasonable for a kg, ends up being around $35 shipped for me. Considering 1kg bags at the roasters I used to frequent were usually around $45-50 I can't fault the price that Lime Blue offer.

  • This coffee is amazing. High caffeine content. Usually only have 2 of these Columbians combated to 3 Ethiopians or Brazilians

    • Woohoo for that opening, thank you so much for the compliment, absolute music to my ears!

General rule of thump is the higher the altitude and lighter the roast the higher the caffeine level, there are also other factors such as type of coffee :)

  • I have a 3 month backlog of delayed orders, love having the flexibility to choose my dispatch date as it means I can adjust with how much coffee we have been drinking.

    Great coffee too :)

    • Fantastic, very happy to know that our unique scheduled/delayed dispatch system is a winner for you and that you've found our fresh coffee to be "great!"

Thank you so much for all of your orders with us thus far and sharing your positive feedback, it's truly appreciated :)

  • If I order extra with delayed delivery but get the first one and don’t like the blend, can the future shipments
be cancelled- or is it a once checkout is done no refunds scenario??

I got the last Brazil SO 1kg and the bag valve seems to let air in after I’ve sealed and squeezed out the air, is that normal and the beans are expending gas or something; or a defective bag?

Is it worth paying $4 extra for 2x 500g bags or they don’t have zip bag so harder to keep fresh?

Is there a way to tell caffeine content of this blend vs the Brazil one?

    • I got the last Brazil SO 1kg and the bag valve seems to let air in after I’ve sealed and squeezed out the air, is that normal and the beans are expending gas or something; or a defective bag?

I can't answer the other questions, but this one I definitely can have a stab at. What you're describing sounds very much like outgassing from the beans. Depending on how fresh the coffee is and how recently it's been roasted you'll find it's still losing a lot of CO2 over time. Thus, when a bag is full of 'air' and you could swear you sealed that sucker nice & tight…it's most likely the carbon dioxide escaping out of the beans. (This is also why a new bag of coffee can be quite puffy and tight.) The good news is that it shouldn't affect the beans; you're correct that letting air in is not ideal as the oxygen and moisture will affect bean quality. You should also find that over time it will reduce and the bag won't seem as full. I hope this answers your question.

      • Nicely detailed answer @Chazzozz appreciate the assist :)

    • Nice speedy round of questions!

      1) You're welcome to place multiple orders and cancel future shipments before dispatch. However, if you are going to place multiple orders with a view of potentially cancelling those orders then we'd honestly prefer you just place a single order today, try it out and if you enjoy it then place more orders. There's a few reasons, but the primarily reason is because cancelled orders can cost us money. Regardless of the method you use to pay, we'll refund the entire amount you paid for a cancelled order prior to dispatch, but certain payment processors will not refund the initial processing fee to us that they took from the payment. Another alternative to cancelling if for some reason the coffee doesn't suit you is switching to a different type of coffee or if you're not drinking it as quickly as initially expected then simply email us and we can further delay your dispatch

      2) Fresh coffee expels roughly 7.5 grams of CO2 per kg during roughly the first two weeks since it was roasted, as such if you noticed the bag expanding then this would be from the fresh coffee degassing as opposed to a "defective bag" valve. If the bag exploded then it's safe to say the valve is defective AKA the primary purpose of the valve is to prevent the bag bursting due to too much pressure

      3) All of our bags regardless of the size have resealable zip locks. Whether the extra $3.60 is worth it is for the smaller packaging is really up to you to decide from a personal perspective. From a freshness perspective the smaller bags do enable you to easily keep the coffee fresher for longer, as you can freeze one sealed bag while you're enjoying the other

      4) In a lab the caffeine level comparisons between our two featured Single Origins can be tested.Taking into account the factors that impact caffeine levels our two SO's have a relatively similar level of caffeine

Feel free to reach out with any more questions :)

      • +1

Thanks for the info ! For a low consumption (40-50g a day) - well, I consider that low (maybe not) - would you recommend freezing 500g bag(s) or does it degrade the quality ? At the moment I think our rate is getting through a 1kg bag opened, in around 20-30 days.

The SO Brazil was my first coffee after getting an espresso machine and I’ve now gone from one double shot to two double shots a day :D

        • Nice consumption numbers @dammit especially going from one to two after trying our Brazil SO!

Know it's a bit more expensive, but I'd personally go for 2x500g open one and freeze the other until you're ready to get stuck into the second bag. All that said I do think you should hopefully be all good with 1kg gone in 20-30 days without needing to freeze if you're not keen on the 2x500g bag system :)

  • Yo Tom! Any more Moments to Memories or Brazil SO deals coming up towards the end of the year?
These seem to be our favourite :)
We have plenty to last us until mid dec haha (I think I still got a FB2.0 coming in Nov?)

    Thanks!

    • +1

Hey @snippy one deal at a time is good fishing haha AKA we haven't decided on the exact details of any future potential deals beyond this current deal.

Nice to hear you've found your favourites, thanks for the complement. Our Brazil SO and Moments are still available at full-price, but if you're just keen on a deal price then it might be worth jumping on this delicious Colombian SO with a delayed/scheduled dispatch of mid Dec. Otherwise roll the dice, cross your fingers and hope you another deal closer to when you need more fresh coffee, which is likely but not a certainty :)

With regard to our FBC 2.0, the 4th and final dispatch for this current round already happened earlier this week, unless you emailed us requesting a delay on the scheduled dispatch?

      • I’ll email you to see what my delayed dispatch is but likely I’ll need another set of beans in mid to late December hahaha
Moments to Memories or one of your other blends would be mad!

  • Great coffee but I much prefer their blend moments to memories

    • Woohoo wrapped to know you think our coffee is "great" and especially enjoy our much loved Moments to Memories blend!

If you feel like trying something new just to mix it up, it might be worth trying out this SO, today is the first time we've ever had this specific Single Origin available on our website. That said if you've found the blend you love and would prefer to stick Moments then that's perfectly fine too :)

      • what is the coffee beans to liquid coffee out ratio for this blend? and how does it compare to the 'Moments to Memories' blend?

        • Just a follow up questions, so I can answer your's properly, see below :)

  • Hey @LimeBlueCoffee what is the coffee beans to liquid coffee out ratio for this blend? and how does it compare to the 'Moments to Memories' blend?

    • Hey @elmotta appreciate you reaching out to check :)

So I can answer the question in a helpful way could you please elaborate a bit with regard to your second question? Are you asking for a ratio or flavour comparison?

      • what is your recommended ratio for each blend?

        • As a result of growing conditions and different processing methods, roast profiles and bean structure does change a bit between this SO and our Moments blend, as such extraction will be slightly different based on bean density. However, we've found them both to be delicious with the following brew ratio guide:

          • Black Espresso Guide 1 : 2 Ratio = 20 In : 40 Out : 27 Seconds or for milk based larger than 150-200ml of streamed/textured milk
          • Milk Based Guide 1 : 1 Ratio = 20 In : 20 Out : 18 Seconds 150-200ml of streamed/textured milk
          • Filter Guide = 1 : 16.67 Ratio = 6g Coffee : Per 100g Water

Please note these are just recommended brew guide, as opposed to strict rules :)

  • Perfect timing! Running out of beans and always wanted to try your coffee! 😀

What’s the brew recipe for espresso? Ie. time, extraction, etc. I have Breville Barista Express at home.

    • Wonderful, sounds like it's meant to be!

For the Breville Barista Express we'd recommend the following:

      • Black Espresso Guide 1 : 2 Ratio = 16-18 In : 32-36 Out : 27 Seconds or for milk based larger than 150-200ml of streamed/textured milk
      • Milk Based Guide 1 : 1 Ratio = 16-18 In : 16-18 Out : 18 Seconds 150-200ml of streamed/textured milk
      • Filter Guide = 1 : 16.67 Ratio = 6g Coffee : Per 100g Water

You can try a 20g dose, but depending on the grind size it may be too much due to the 54mm basket. Generally speaking a 20g dose is best suited to a 58mm basket. End of the day these are just recommended brew guide, as opposed to strict rules :)

      • Hey @LimeBlueCoffee does the recommended extraction time for the Barista Express take into consideration the pre infusion time (~8 seconds) ?

        • Nice double check @elmotta !

Yes, total contact/extraction time in the recommendations includes any pre-infusion :)

  • Hi there! I'm keen but hoping for a delivery date around the first week of Jan, is that possible? Thanks

    • Hey @SmashedMango appreciate you reaching out to check!

100% we can make that happen for you. If you select the Friday the 30th of December as your dispatch date then the earliest your fresh coffee will be delivered is Monday the 2nd of January; provided you do not select the "same day delivery as dispatch" shipping option, in which case your fresh coffee dispatched on 30/12 would also be delivered on 30/12 :)

Liked the coffee OP, and the speedy delivery was appreciated, but can I suggest you invest a little in updating / modernising your website? Perhaps consider an FAQ page with info about the various coffees and which is best suited to milk etc.

Hey @The Judge terrific to know we're in your coffee and delivery good books, we'll keep working hard to stay there!

Appreciate your input, fair and helpful comment. Bit by bit we have been updating our site, a lot on the back end on our fulfillment processes and a little bit on the front end too (but may be a little hard to tell). Most recently adding some info on our "about us" page regarding how/why we source coffee the way we do. A FAQ type addition has been on my ever growing to do list for little while, just trying to chase that elusive 25th hour in the day to get through the entire list, a continual work in progress to say the least :)

I've been tossing up between a FAQ page, blog post page, or menu pages dedicated to specific topics e.g. a shipping info page, a how to pick the right coffee for you page…Interested to get your 2 cents worth on your preference for one or a combination of the three options. Please note we may not end up doing exactly what you suggest, but whether we end up doing what you suggest in full, part or not at all, your input would be helpful and appreciated. Just thought this caveat was worth mentioning so you don't end up taking the time to send through a helpful suggestion, we end going in a different direction and you're left scratching your head thinking "why'd they waste my time asking for input only to do something different?"

      • Definitely the third. I fee most consumers will value being given options & selecting what they need from a list. Blog requires the reader to wade through multiple posts for a specific kernel of info, which is unappealing to people like me who just want the who/what/where etc. and which bean suits what coffee style. Appreciate the chance to give feedback!

          Really appreciate the extra feedback!

Nice choice, same page same book as I was on a similar thought path. I also like that it's a bit different to the norm, as we generally like sailing in our own direction :)

  • Well bugger I just ordered 1.5kgs of coffee today from my local speciality shop….

Looks like I better get drinking before this turns up. Thanks op!
