From what i have heard its a pretty good wireless mouse.

Has 2 side buttons for a total of 6 programmable buttons ( a bit on the low side but personally I wouldn't mind that)
Its wireless, so it'll be a little heavier than a wired one (roughly 110 grams of weight as compared to the basilisk v2 at just 93g)
But my fav part is its off 55% and just $4 off from all time low.

Wired mouse so much lighter than a wireless one at just 61g
Like the basilisk it also has 2 side buttons for a total of 6 programmable

    Mine's been awesome - I can't fault it.

Some people had connection or battery issues, so if you notice that, warranty/return it ASAP. Definitely worth a go, as it's brilliant for the price.

Should have been in the "ball" era 🥲

      Mine's been awesome - I can't fault it.

Do you have problem if you don't use it for a short period of time and it won't connect by 2.4? Have to power it off and on? No problem with bluetooth.

      • Never. But I've heard of it happening to faulty units.

Bought one of these. Regretted it, endless connection drop-outs. Bought a logitech, issues disappeared.

Same here. It was awesome when it worked but the constant drop outs plus scroll click issues were a pain to deal with.
I still use mine when i travel but use a logitech as my main mouse. Havent had issues since changing

    Both bad prices lol

The Basilisk X Hyperspeed is very good except the middle mouse button doesn't always register and paring Bluetooth can be a pain. Other than that it's a really good mouse

  • Basilisk X Hyperspeed is a great mouse, a little tail heavy. This isn't a great deal thought, good mine for only $35 on Amazon last month.

  • Is the Logitech MX Anywhere 3 that much better than this to warrant the extra $$?

    • This Logitech is not a gaming mouse, if you don't game doesn't matter.

      • That's what I'm trying to say. You can game and do everything else with this Razer.

Yet the logitech costs $37 more, can't game with it (as well as this Razer) but for some reason is more widely liked/recognised as a better deal.

I'm using my Basilisk X Hyperspeed right now and it's excellent. The fit is perfect for my hand. It's the most comfortable mouse I've ever used. It's perfect for gaming, office work and everything in-between. I did have an issue with connection on mine, but I got a replacement and haven't had an issue with this one since :)

  • $50 doesn't seem that cheap for viper mini, it's still an excellent wired mouse but if you're not in a rush you could wait for it to hit $30-40 again

  • it's a good mouse, dont think its worth more than $50 and dont try to pair it with a Mac, or you'll enter a world of pain

    • I use it on a MacBook Pro with Bluetooth, no problem at all.

In fact I love Bluetooth as I can check battery status from the little icon on top bar.

  • I've had mine for two years. Great mouse with good battery life. It's very good at this price point IMO

  • i have both.
the wireless one works good with the mac, if you use the receiver.

the mini viper is great for gaming, i have large hands and thought it would be too small but i feel i have more control over the mouse which has 100% increased my gaming ability by 200%. Mini viper usually goes on sale around $30-$40 as others have pointed out.

  • I got a Razer Basilisk X Hyperspeed in March. The center mouse button only works intermittently/with a very hard press now. Combined with the light rotation pressure of the wheel, it's a constant annoyance as I get mouse wheel rolls instead of clicks. It's pretty much useless now. Useless in as much as it's no good for gaming (need a center click) or for web browsing (can't center click for actions). 6 months on and the seller on ebay gives no ****s when contacted. Will try Razer.

  • Got one of these and the drop-out issues are quite annoying. It'll work fine once you unpower the mouse and power it back on again.

    • I am wondering if it is battery issue, I am using Eneloop and mouse never report 100% full charged.

      • I will put Eneloops in my known good one this evening and report back.

It does seem to be more about faulty units, since people that were able to exchange faulty ones have been fine.

        • Mine only happen sometime when I am away for a short period time, no problem if the mouse sleep for longer.

  • Have been using this mouse for over a year now. No issues whatsoever. Make sure you use the included adapter instead of Bluetooth. Eats around 4 batteries a year.

  • Just picked one up from OW $46.55 after price beat. Hopefully I don't have the connection/wheel click issues that people have reported.

Been wanting to pick up a wireless mouse with similar shape to the 502 ever since I swapped to the GPX superlite.

    Thanks OP
