Considering Dick Smith and JB Hi-fi have the same model on for $300 more, this is a great deal! Picked myself up one today; the TV has Full HD, 3D, a 2D to 3D conversion, Dual Play - split screen gaming with a full screen. Anyway, for what it offers, I think the price is worth it.

    Agreed. I purchased his exact same model almost three weeks ago for $965 at Bing Lee (Alexandria, NSW). Sorry, OP, I don't rate this as a bargain.

    You must also love having a higher minimum wage compared to America. If you can somehow add an extra 280 million people in Australia then we'd achieve similar levels of economies of scale as america, then you can have this for $149 cheaper.

    If you don't think the price is justifiable, that's fine but it is actually a good discount.

  Good guys had the next model up (6700) for a little more only(still 100-200), has built in wifi and better signal processing apparantly. was looking at these models… but its not much better than the JBHIFI price specially if you ask them to do better.

    scratch that, i got the 670 for $1080 with a pair of play glasses…

    weekend sale only though and only at one store…
    ended up getting JB HIFI to price match the good guys in essendon.. so almost neg worthy. (although 80 bux is still 80 bux - minus the 20 bux for the play glasses.)

    should go really well with the PS3 thats on the way from the big W sales posted here.
