urgh, can time hurry up already? i need this deal tonight!

    • +1

Same dude its soooo far away

    • -6

Why not just post this on tuesday?? What is the point of posting so early??

      • +4

        Prepparation

        • There are three p-s in prepparation, because when you’re absolutely primed for a watershed event, one’s bladder needs to be completely empty. Be triply sure, or take the chance of a humiliating pit stop as you rapidly approach the finish line

      • So you can stay hungry on monday to gain calories for tuesday ?

Price increase from previous months for Traditional and Premium
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/724261

    • -1

would happily that $8 price if I can get option to get the pizza from a better store (which makes pizzas better than other nearby stores) Ofcourse probably because better management and employees. But still Yes, Dominos is strongly facing inflation, and increasing prices, reducing pizza quality and sizes

    • -2

The NATO war(s) affects our inflation :(

      • +2

Im unsure what NATO operation is currently causing the infation you are refering to. Seems to be nothing active currently.
Russias invasion of ukraine is having a huge effect on crops used by the people of europe which could make our pizza prices increase.
But NATO didnt start that one.
        https://www.nato.int/cps/en/natohq/topics_52060.htm

        • -8

UR reading western propaganda. NATO did not respect the Red line that Russia was warning about for long time.
As "Roger Waters refutes US war propaganda in CNN interview" says "read more" before accepting the propaganda from the Military Industrial Complex.
~100,000 Ukrainian troops have been killed for Western political purposes by giving weapons to die instead of resolving diplomatically & the whole world is also suffering. They don't tell this in MSM.
During the Cuban Missile Crisis of 1962, confrontation of US to USSR similar reaction happened & now they want Russia to be silent. They do the same to China, but China is non-conformational & comes on top peacefully. We just started the Asian CENTURY (100y) & the Americans throw tantrums & they lose imperial control.

          • +1

@taki: Is that you putin? You be putin your dough out for some cheap pizza?

          • -1

@taki: Lol. Red line. So now democratically elected led nations must listen to dictatorship nations on what they can and can't do?
            No thanks
The people of Ukraine are fighting because they have been under Russian control before as part of the USSR. How many Ukraine citizens died under those dictators? More then 100000 I bet.
What ever goals crazy Putin was hoping to achieve he has failed at every one of them.
I half expect the nukes to fly because will need a pretty substantial distraction to his continual incompetence as a leader and he is to egotistical to walk away.
As least with the yanks you only need to worry about an idiot been in charge for a maximum of 8 years.

  • +18

Wasn’t it $6 for traditional all previous deals?

Inflation is running rampant, it now applies to voucher codes too..

    • +6

Yep! Plus have you seen the size of their pizzas lately? They should rename the pizzas from Value pizzas to overvalued pizzas.

  • +3

Basically just $1 cheaper than their run of the mill codes with Traditional Pizzas.

    • +4

I thought traditional was usually $7.95 with a code?

      • +1

This code is no longer available at my local Dominos. I'm not paying $15.00 for a supreme, so I've just stopped going.

        • +1

Lucky you don't live in the UK then, I remember how shocked I was when I walked into a Domino's and saw that a Pepperoni Pizza was $30 AUD 😱

  • +1

Gosh I was just thinking I could do with another pizza deal.

A week today, I can wait.

  • +5

Guy’s, the price increase’s were pointed out back here :(

Inflation Price Gouging, because, hear me out, if they can still afford to run these promos then they just blame inflation and raise there profit margins.

  • +9

This is how much they should be all the time. No one should ever pay $19 for a Domino's pizza

  • Says app only but works on web!

    • No good here.

      Order Date 25/10/22
      Order Time 12pm

The voucher 290754 is not accepted on this device.

        Worked for me (space removed)

        • Ah yeah those 2 work here too, I only tested the first 2 codes.

  • +3

Remember to Pay online (if you'll be using a master/visa Card) to avoid any unexpected surcharge

    • +1

the Sunday surcharge or what? i doubt paying online gets around that…

      • Haven't been charged any surcharge paying online, even tho the manager at store himself says I would be charged surcharge by paying online.

Additionally WYLSC has also confirmed that online payments are done to the headoffice, (who cop the surcharge themselves). So no way customer would get surcharged that way.

This card surcharge thingies is only at some stores (may be more like not at some stores, IDK), Best to pay online to be safe, unless you are absolutely sure you wont get surcharged in store.

  • How does one choose the thin & crisp crust for a value max? Only offer the base crust which I don't like

  • Hey all. I didnt have Dominos for a long while, so wondering if the new Burger joint pizzas are any good? And what category code does it fall under? (traditional, premium or no code can be used)

It looks really good on the ad but it would be good to get some opinions from peeps who tried.

    • +4

Apparently they are not that good.

There is a youtube channel that did a review. 'Gregs Kitchen'. Look it up. He was not very impressed.

      • +2

I didnt want to spend close to $20 on the new burger joint pizzas so I got the $9.95 mini burger joint pizza deal.

It was alright at that price. I tried the hamburger with bacon. It was too sweet tasting like the reviewers said but its better than what I expected.

    • +2

If you want your pizza to taste like a big mac then go to coles and get Coles Special Burger sauce. If you want it to taste like a cheeseburger then get Coles Special Cheeseburger sauce. Just put that on a normal pizza. I haven't tried the official Dominos version, but if it is so good then why get rid of it within a couple of months?

      • Yeah. Its exactly what you said. Just need to get that butter pickle and mayo and you can imitate it yourself and save some money and will probably taste better too.

      • What's the "American burger CHEESE" exactly tjo??

  • +4

I ordered tonight, the codes for the 4 pizza and sides didn't work with my local store, then I went the $33 for 3 pizzas delivered, only to be slugged a delivery surcharge, I feel like reporting them to the ACCC for false advertising

  • +3

When traditional pizza is $7.95 already, not really a deal😅. I guess all the others might be still (slightly)

    • +2

Unfortunately nowadays the $7.95 code doesn't work at most stores, have to settle for $8.95.

      • +1

Damn. Well I don't go to Domino's much nowadays anyway. Only go there when they got good deals like the $3 pepperoni a few weeks back…

      • +1

Well due to lack of toppings they're definitely not worth $8.95 from my local store, it was a struggle justifying $7.95. So I guess that's another takeaway food off my menu.

  • +1

$8 for the tiny pizzas is a bit of a joke for a special

    • +2

Very nice when the $5 pizzas was $3🙂

      • +2

I remember buying like 15 of em for $15 in 2021 giving co workers an impression that i spent like $75+ on pizzas.

Those days man were so good.

        • I remember once there was $1 value, $2 trad and $3 premium. Was only about 5 years ago I think

  • I don't understand the dominos website where you can add a promo code though it always advertises for the promo code for app only. :(

    • yeah why they want us to use their shitty appdate so bad ?

  • Tuesday always takeout 😋😋

    • on another note i ate some pizza boys on deliveroo
      sizes/diameters/inches
      small - 9"
      large - 12"
      "family" - 15"

  • +1

What happened to the $3 mini pizzas? Replaced by burger ones?

    • i still see them, looks they newly added mini meatlovers and supreme too

      edit- including the $3 ones

    • are minis better value!?

  • I don't know if its worth it beside the value pizza that's the same price with offer I think but the
the quality of pizza is not good at all. I buy mozzarella cheese and put a bit on top makes big
    difference.
At this price don't think I will buy it, if they put them up $1 dollar maybe, but $2……I'm out!

  • Finally max range coupon for once 😉

  • +6

not worth it anymore for traditional

  • Can this be ordered Tuesday for Wednesday?

    • No the Domino's system won't let you. If you try to order on Tuesday, for a future date, it will tell you the coupon is expired.

  • My local stores always blocks these codes unless I make an order straight away. So dodgy!

    • +1

This is a national deal, stores cannot opt out.

  • +2

That's the last thing I order thin n crispy pizzas from domino's.

The pizzas I received tonight were so thin, it was like they took a piece of paper and spread some sauce and toppings on it.

The pizza had no substances, every bite I took went straight through the slice with no resistance and it just crumbled in my mouth.

They were so thin that you could actually see through the bottom of the pizza to the toppings.

They were so thin that I had to support each slice with 2 hands so that it didn't fall apart before I put it in my mouth.

It was like they were using filo pastry as the base.

    Rant over

    • +1

      Definitely an eloquently versed complaint….

    • They're like crackers aren't they? They're especially bad with the options that don't have a strong flavour from the topping, so most pizzas that aren't 'premium' level. I tried it with Cheesy Garlic with Crème Fraiche option a few months ago, F%#! that was bad.

It seems if you want pizza done properly and how you like for a cheaper price then you have to make it yourself.

    • +1

They stopped making thin n crispy in store and now made overseas, downgrade imo

    • Mmm. Thin and crispy

  • +2

Domino's used to be my favourite fast food. Tasty pizzas, lots of toppings, excellent value for money, friendly customer service. Now those memories seem like some sort of fever dream…

This time inflation has gone to far. Jim Chalmers! RBA! Do something! WON'T SOMEBODY THINK OF THE CHILDREN!?!?

    • It's the US that thinks for AU. So wars/bullying, no children :(

  • I see they’ve finally eliminated the $5 value range completely.

    • We still have the Value range pizzas, they’ve just had slight increases to $5.50. Pepperoni & Simply Cheese are still $5 though.

      • +1

        They weren’t there last promo.
        I’m from QLD

        • I’ve checked the Brisbane store and they are still showing, there is nothing internally suggesting removal of this range. It is generally near the bottom though so you may have missed it?

          • +1

@WoodYouLikeSomeCash: Just said Queensland, in the past they've literally had test stores with different pricing for ranges within 5 minutes of each other and they don't really let everyone know about these tests apart from the stores participating

      • That's 10%. Ask for 10% wage increase ;)

    • They also eliminated the classic $7.95 traditional pizzas promo code that has been on the offers app for many years. Seems Dominos are getting extra greedy as of late.

  • I am original from Taiwan and after migrated to here, I found pizzas from Dominos and Pizza Hut are terrible. The only one that is acceptable is Pizza Capers. But they are not cheap.

    • +1

Are you saying that Taiwanese Dominos and PH are better and Pizza Capers is cheaper in Taiwan?

      What about Taiwanese Neapolitan pizza?

      • +1

        User name checks out…

    • Different taste.
"Pizza Hut looked into China’s cuisine & people’s preferences/tastes that are very different from Western standards (eg. cheese is very rare in China)."

      • Cause most people (myself included) are lactose intolerant.

        • That's why customised/localised menu is better than plain American taste (which makes people sick. Dominos that didn't customise, didn't have much success)

    • +1

i think it's universally acknowledged domino's is terrible, but pretty hard to beat in terms of value for people on a tight budget.

    • +1

Mate, it depends on the store. Some are crap, just gotta find the good ones

      • Interesting. So even with same ingredients it might taste differently? Thought they have SOP like McDonald.

    • +1

All fast food in Australia is bad. Even the global chains are noticeably worse here. The KFC and the maccas are so bland and boring here compared with any where else but you have them so long that they become your new normal. Also other countries do local specials at these places but it's a stock standard menu here.

    • +1

Tai-Won Numbah One! The Dominos here tastes bad but at least they are cheap. The pizzas over there is expensive (medium size pizza for $15!) and tastes bad (but not as bad as over here). If you eat a pizza in Taiwan for each meal you would probably go broke. Thank god for $5 pizzas! I think Dominos here taste better than Napoli's, but Pizza Hut in Taiwan taste really good for some reason (though the ones here are average).

      • LOL. Tai-Won Numbah One! Actually before I came here, my favourite is this: https://www.0800076666.com.tw/. For large size, it is about $16.72, small for $12. But yeah, you are right, $5 is cheap here.

        • LOL. In that case…you are not a true Na-Po-Li or Taiwon OzBargainer cuz if you were you'd be eating their fried chicken (6 for $199) instead of their $199 pizza during promo (only time I would consider eating their pizza but only if the chicken runs out). I still think the Pizza Hut tastes more like pizza though Na-Po-Li tastes too "Tai". It's funny how you buy pizzas in Taiwon for celebration and birthday parties and pizzas here are cheap food that is taken for granted.
In that case…Pizza Hut Numbah One! Napoli Numbah Too! Domino Numbah Tree!

And did you know Dominos Taiwon is owned by Dominos Australia but the Taiwan branches still manage to outbeat them in flavor (even though Pizza Hut tastes way better). The Gu-Ting Branch and Shi-Da branch in Taipei are always empty for some reason I am like their only customer. But at least they are clean and modern.

  • +1

Pass for 33.3% increase (& 60% on the $5 deal recently) for Traditional. They broke the Tradition ;)

    • +3

Agreed, although still a deal on a technicality, a very poor deal overall!

  • +3

I swear the Domino's pizza get's 2mm smaller every year past 10 years.

  • Is this all day/night or ends at a certain time?
