Boost Mobile: $12 Cashback ($3 Profit) on 40GB 28-Day SIM @ Cashrewards

1700

Hi guys. Boost Mobile is currently selling its $30 40GB SIM for $9 when you apply code SAVE21, so stack with this offer from Cashrewards to get $12 cashback for a $3 profit. Ends 11:59pm AEDT Tuesday, unless sold out or withdrawn prior. Stay safe, and enjoy :)

Cashback terms:

  1. Multiple SIM purchases need to be made as separate transactions. Adding more than one SIM to an order will result in an untracked purchase.
  2. SIM must be activated within 30 days of ordering.
  3. Cashback is ineligible on prepaid phones, recharges, and any plans or products not specifically listed in the cashback table of rates.
  4. You must return and click through from Cashrewards every time you make a new transaction/purchase.

For tracking success, disable 3rd party plugins (AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, Honey, etc), VPNs, avoid browsers such as Brave, close additional browser tabs, and don't click away to other sites looking for codes etc after clicking from Cashrewards as tracking will be lost. Cashrewards must be your last click before purchase. Try our iOS/Android mobile app for great results. Use our Help Centre & Contact form here for any questions or issues.

  • Cheers TA! $3 profit ain't bad at all!

  • +1

Hmmm…I am going cash flow broke with gift cards and SIM cards.

    • +3

Yeah me too, I had to start a spreadsheet for my gift cards so I don't lose track!

      • Good idea. Need to start my s/s too.

  • +3

Any deals for 1 year plans?

    • +38

Been working on something with Boost. Hopefully soon :)

      • +1

        I am waiting for that.

      • +1

I'm interested in the yearly sim

      • We have 2 plans expiring in December to be ported. So I am pre-ordering 1 x $200 and 1 x $300 plans with max discount PLUS max cashback…please.

      • Yup keen, had an annual and accidentally lost my credit due to port out…(noob)

      • +5

If you can, please make sure that there is no requirement for rapid activation. It makes sense for a 30 day SIM, but for a 12 month SIM, people might want to buy and hold for when their existing 12 month SIM runs out. Pretty please???

      • Would be great if it can be as good as Black Friday deal.

        • What was last years Black Friday deal?

I have 2 months left with current sim and will hopefully jump on a good discounted Boost 1 year sim

      • i shall wait

  • Good stuff, thanks TA :)

  • +1

    Hi TA,

You probably answered somewhere before, but is it confirmed that if I still have an (active) boost SIM from last deal, I can still order a new one through this deal and cashback will get approved?

    Thanks

    • +3

Hi, yes no issues at all. Proviso is the activation within 30 days of ordering. Cheers.

      • Great thanks, understood (30 days is clear).

      • Damn! I've forgotten to use one from the previous deal! :(

  • Hi, I'm already running a Boost SIM, can this be used as a recharge?

    • My guess is you'd have to transfer the number to the new sim. Not difficult, just annoying.

      • Thanks, I'm still trying to work Boost out. This initial SIMs are good value but struggling to find a good recharge deal

      • You need to talk to cash rewards to get this sorted. Not an self serve process.

        • What's Cashrewards got to do with it? The deal is designed to attract new customers.

    • Hi! You can reach out to our customer service team regarding this. :)

      • Even though we are returning customers, I believe the customer service team can assist us in recharging. This happened during my last recharge. Can you confirm if this is the case for this deal again?

      • Do you mean we can buy this and go through customer service to be able to use to recharge?
ie the activation will be recognised and be eligible for cashback?

  • +1

Sorry this has probably been asked 50 times, but how long do you have to be off boost before you're a "new" customer again?

    • Good point. Otherwise these will be to hard too activate.
I've only got so many phones to use.

      • +1

Porting off to another provider for few minutes will make you a new customer again!

  • lost count of how many boost sim i ordered.

  • +1

lol i'm running out of ID to activate these

    • +1

Buy some from the dark web.

      • Or Optus……

    • What is the number of SIMs we are limited to activating on each ID?

      • +2

Technically 5 before they are supposed to ask questions. In reality so long as you tick the "I totally have less than 5 sims" box during activation nobody checks.

        • i don't think so. i got 3 or 4 active numbers with them and cannot activate new ones using my own id already

          • @thekensai: Nobody forces you to buy more. Alternatively, take the risk of activating it outside 30 days.

            • @Neoika: no worries, i got plenty reserved capability under my belt

          • @thekensai: On the same account? I have had more just on different accounts but with the same ID

          • @thekensai: did you run into, opss there is something wrong, please try again later screen after you have verified your ID and entered your delivery address?

            • @SnoozeAndLose: you mean when avtivating the sim? yes that's when you know your current ID has maxed out

    • +2

      Ask optus for help.

      • +2

They have an API, you don't need to ask.

    • Is there an ID limit on activations? How many?

  • +2

It seems you can only have three recent services with boost before they say you can’t register a new one.

    • Does registering with a different email work?

      • +1

Nope, but I found porting out and then waiting a day for the number to drop off from your boost ID portal helps.

        • Thanks, I'll try that. Now to get free sims from somewhere..

  • Thanks OP. Cheers

  • This is like the 6th time I've tried to get the sims, I've already bought 5. But now it's telling me "Sorry, we are unable to process your order. Please try again later.". Did i get blacklisted from boost because of the excessive amount of sims I've ordered? Does anyone have a way to get around this?

    • -1

Hi! Sorry to hear that. Please reach out to our customer service team so we can further assist you on this.

      • @jpoomate231, don't bother 'reaching out' to customer service. It's a total waste to time and @boostmobileau is aware of that.
I contacted customer service three times and got a different wrong explanations.

I tried ordering with a different email; Using my partner's details (but same address); Different payment method etc.
Eventually I managed to get an order through only by changing everything: Spelling of name and address, different payment method etc.

        • if boostmobile is fully aware that there is an issue with ordering multiple sims and they are unwilling to fix the problem, is there a possibility by chance that they will decline the cashback?

          • +3

@jpoomate231: To my knowledge, Boostmobile has not acknowledged that there is a restriction on the number of SIMs ordered. The T&Cs only say that an account can't hold more than 35 active SIMs.

The reasons they've given for the "Sorry" error are
            1) It's fraud prevention. Try another payment method. (Spoiler: Nope)
            2) "Don't know but I'll raise it with the support team" (File 13, I think)
            3) It's because the ordering system is undergoing an update - Try again later (Nope)
            4) The link from Cashrewards has expired (Nope)

    • Yes, after a certain number of purchases you have to go through manually

    • I get this nearly every time and I haven't even purchased that many. Also, they never track in CR if it has worked.

      • That many?

    • +1

Yeah, I get the same error message after filling out all my details and submitting the order.

"Sorry, we are unable to process your order"

I've tried on different days at different times, still no luck.

Funny thing is that I've never signed up to Boost Mobile before, so it's definitely NOT from ordering too many sims.

    • Same issue. Haven't ordered one from this deal but I had ordered two from the previous one

  • Does Boost have international roaming packs?

    • Sorry, but international roaming is currently not available on your Boost Mobile service. :(

      • Oh damn - any updates on this? A more specific date when this will be made available?

  • Thanks TA. First time purchasing a Boost Mobile sim. Cashrewards tracking showed up within a min after my purchase so that's awesome.

  • Thanks for the deal. I've ordered three and now unable to order any more, getting an error when checking out…

Sorry, we are unable process your order. Please try again later.

  • Bought one last time for 0 ($9 and cashback $9) :( maybe next time

  • Does anyone know you need to remain active over 30days? Or we can port within 30days of activation?

    • Just says "SIM must be activated within 30 days of ordering" i.e. no mention of having to stay with them once done. You may as well stay for 28 regardless for calls/data.

  • +1

Damn I let the cash reward app run in the back ground for a while so I can get my credit card details. Completed the transaction about 30 mins later but no cashback is tracked.

  • Thanks TA - bought 2 (in 2 transactions) and CR tracked it within minute.
Just in time to get 2 trials of kayo sports for T20worldcup :)

  • Do boost send dispatch confirmation emails? My friend ordered a sim card and didn't even know when it was being dispatched until it was delivered a few days later. She didn't get a dispatch confirmation email

    • I have never received one and have ordered a few in the past. They just show up so I don't believe so.

  • Is there a tracking problem on iOS app today? I bought 2 sims at 4pm and 9 pm, confirmation emails received straight away but still not tracked. It has been nearly instantaneous in the past!

    • I haven't got tracking either - I have 4 clicks throughs in my history with zero being tracked - is there a process if they don't track?

    • Hi! Try the iOS/Android mobile app(cashrewards.com.au) for great results. :)

      • I was using the cashrewards iOS app for Boost mobile sim purchase yesterday. Both sims did not track (clicks were registered), even though purchase was confirmed and posted today. Will wait a few days before making missing cashback claim.

        • Yep iOS doesn’t work for some reason.

    • Had similar experience just now. Tracking via app has been instantaneous in the past, but can’t see my orders yet - May be it’s too soon, only been 5-10 mins now.

      • +1

        It's not instant.
I've had it track almost instantly, then in another case 11 minutes.. YMMV

        • Thanks! I hope it tracks, I have had a good track record with CR. Even if it doesn’t track, CR has been good in my past experiences.
Also, I just did one more order using the browser this time not the app and that one hasn’t tracked either yet. So, May be something going on. Hope they all track together. 🤞

          • +1

@Dealking: Yeah mine from last night not tracking yet either. Glad someone else is in the same boat.

  • Ordered 12:55pm
    Cashrewards tracked 12:56pm

    Now do your thing Boost.

  • I'm on my third 240gb/12mo Boost plan. How does everyone make use of these 28 day Boost Sims? Are you porting every 28 days? Seems like a hassle and risky for porting errors that you hear about every now and then.

    • I use them to always have a random spare number and as a backup should NBN go down. They don't get much use and turned off 95% of the time but still handy to have.

    • keep long term number on cheap plan for calls.
discounted sims for extra data. discard after 28 days.
dual sim phone helps. i use an old phone on mobile hotspot

  • i ordered one using my IDs, can i activate the sim under another family member's IDs?

    • +1

I have never been asked for ID when ordering other than Name, address, DOB & email address. Where on ordering did it ask for an ID Check? Was it for a "Prepaid SIM or something else? ID Check is usually done after SIM is received and part of the Activation".

    • +3

they don't give a sh1t who's ordering. try Donald Trump and you'll still get the sim at your address then you can activate it with any ID valid in australia

  • Does boost auto setup renew or can I just activate it and never login to my boost account again?

    • +1

Auto Renew is not on by default as it does not ask for Cr/Card details. You need to add funds later with App should one choose to continue using. In turn, you dont need to return and do anything. It will just expire.

  • Getting the try again later error even when ordering a sim for my brother at a different address using a different card. Is it bouncing based on the cashrewards tracking ID because I already ordered one? The vague error message is infuriating.

  • -1

Hi OP, have you seen any kogan mobile deals lately? thanks

    • Just search for it using the search bar…

  • Ordered late last night. Still no tracking from CR :/

    • Yup same.

I just ordered with today's $12.22 cashback offer and it tracked instantly … i read that CR had issues with IOS so maybe there were other issues too (I used Android)

    • Hi there!

  • Does anyone always have issues activating Boost SIM cards?

After entering my ID details (with my ID successfully verified), then entering my email address and residential address, the next screen always comes up as “Something went wrong” (https://imgur.com/a/dgbiwcT). Anyone have any idea what’s happening?
