Nice, best coffees and much better than Airjo.

  • It's roasted for espresso

Is it okay for batch brew?

      Hi onon0402,

Whilst the roast for this coffee is for espresso, you should still get good results on batch brew.

I've been testing it at home using this method and getting a nice balanced result :)

      • Thanks! ordered. :)

  • Hope it is as good as the tasting notes. Ethiopian coffee is usually very good in my experience.

      Hi Aureus,

We love Ethiopian coffee too - this one is bright and full of flavour.

      It won't disappoint :)

  • Love yirgacheffe, ordered 2kgs šŸ˜

    • Hi adamm12,

That's so great to hear - thanks so much for placing an order with us.

We hope you love our Yirgacheffe Koke single origin coffee :)

  • I thought yirgacheffe coffee was best had with pour overs, not espresso.

    • Hi shiny1,

Ethiopian coffees are great on filter, but when they have a nice body and rich flavour profile, they can be just as good on espresso.

This one is great with both methods :)

Ordered 1kg, hope it's not the usual way over-roasted Melbourne beans that's only ok when mixed with heaps of milk.

    • Hi moooz,

This coffee will be a medium roast and should stand up as a black coffee but also paired with milk :)

Still trying to finish off the Spring blend which were very disappointing. The roast were uneven as some beans were underroasted (yellow). Won't be getting this.

    • Hi ColourWolf,

I'm sorry to hear about your experience with our Spring Blend.

If there's any further feedback you'd like to share, please email our team:

  • Can you do a nice and light roast on this one? Please !

    • Hi gilbert151,

This coffee will be a medium roast, perfect for espresso but also appropriate for some filter brewing too :)

  • I know almost nothing about coffee but my girlfriend has her own grinder and loves almond cappuccinos. Would this work well for that?

    • Hi Zemvos,

This coffee will be best enjoyed black but can be paired with milk.

One of our coffee blends are more appropriate for milk-based coffees which might be a great place to start :)

    NARRATOR: It tasted like coffee

    • Hi GrueHunter,

The flavour notes on this one is quite interesting.

We've really enjoyed tasting it throughout our testing :)

  • Any opinions on this for pourover use?

    • Hi eating kiwi fruit,

This coffee will give you good results on pourover as it's a medium roast profile :)

How does this roast level compare to the Ethiopian Sidamo single origin?
That was way over roasted in my opinion, such that most of the origin characteristics had disappeared.
Iā€™m hesitant to jump on this deal

    • noticed from from previous deals that you wont get replies from this OP on time.

    • Hi Boscom123,

I'm sorry to hear you didn't have a nice experience with our Sidamo coffee.

This is a medium roast coffee so great for espresso but also appropriate should you be brewing up filter.

      Hope that helps :)

  • Ordered one. Thanks. Having a go

Drinking this now. It is a great coffee. Bright fruity flavour, with a bit of acidity. Roast looks good to me.
