Very true. I figured it would take to long to season my camping cast iron just on camping trips alone so I shelved my lodge and have been using my camping frying pan and camp oven for generally cooking.
It's perfect now.
For anyone that doesn’t know why that entails. Just grab some high smoke point oil and coat all surfaces of the pan with it, smear it all over with a cloth etc. Chuck them all in the oven at the highest temp for an hour or two and you should be right as rain.
The tripod is well worth picking up with this , especially if you can use the code again on another account to take $10 off .

Spinifex tripod, it was showing up under this listing : as in people who bought this also purchased, was $40 now $20 -$10 possibly if the code works .

I recommend using it at home. It would take a lot of camping trips to get a really nice seasoning or just a month or two of regular home use.

Yes you do. Watch some YouTube. Use bran oil or something with a high smoke rating not olive oil like some say to do.
I'm very curious…how many other OzBargainers got (profanity) around by Anaconda…tried to bu this deal…AT LEAST 8 TIMES over Saturday - Monday….messaged their website support…was unable to action and actually pay for the item…multiple Browsers [after they recommended I change to Chrome] and multiple payment methods…every time I tried to purchase…..the "Secure payment hyperlink" never became active….
Spoke to Service Centre [no real help; send us an email explaining issues and attach screenshots (HAD PLENTY!) and we'll get back to you]…I asked "Will you arrange to put one aside so I can go into store and collect? I don't want to wait 2 or 3 days; then get a reply saying…all fixed! Thanks for your input….OH - AND WE'RE SORRY…SPECIAL HAS FINISHED AN THERE'S NO STOCK LEFT".
ANSWER TO THAT QUESTION WAS A SOLID "NO!"
Also rang the Store, arranged to pickup then got a reply Monday 6.32 pm stating;
"Kindly be advised that this a known issue and it has been escalated to the relevant team.

So…GREAT! The issue was known about…WAS ANYONE able to secure the purchase and pay using their [Anaconda's] Online Website??
Yeah I bought it through their website no probs. The only thing I’ve noticed is that every time I have a click n collect at the Springvale store it takes 10 mins or even longer to bring out the goods.
