Congrats on your first post and a very good one at that.

  • Amazing. Thanks!

    Great price

Good price for mini LED but TCL still a bit worry and Appliance Giant never heard of it.

    Muzeeb is it you?

    • They have good google reviews, but very bad product reviews. Just make sure they are an Authorised seller, and you keep your docket and you should be fine. You may wish to also pay with PayPal for 180 days protection

      • Better ask JB to price match

        • That's a better idea if they will price match pre-orders.

" You may wish to also pay with PayPal for 180 days protection"

Had a case denied by PP (when I paid using my balance) vs no issues with credit cards (aus issued ones)

Never ever rely on Paypal is my piece of advice

        • Interesting, as I've lost multiple disputes with PayPal (card)

        • When you say Paypal Vs CCs, do you mean paying via Paypal with CC vs Paypal with balance? Or purely Paypal altogether vs CC?

          • both ebay and paypal seems to be dropping the return post refund policy so if seller is a scam you may be out of pocket.
      • How to you check if they are an authorized TCL dealer? Other than emailing them of course!

        • I'm not sure with Australia (They list for other markets). I would say they were by the amount of TCL products they sell, but you would have to ring / email TCL. Sorry, I'm not sure why I cannot find this list or why they don't produce it

You may wish to also pay with PayPal for…

…punishment of thought crimes. No thanks.

  • Very good price but doesn't deliver to my post code…

Also it seems Appliance Giant is not a participant dealer for cash back.

  • 144Hz? Does it mean you can connect gaming pc and play on it?

    • A big yes.

  • Price has gone up to $2998

  • Yep….$2998

  • 144hz VRR, ALLM, Dolby Vision.
It has all the specs for a great SeriesX/PS5/4090 TV and cheaper than a 65 C2.
    What am I missing here?
Sure I see it uses a lot more electricity than my CX. But apart from that, what else?

    • +3

Are you seriously looking to downgrade from a CX Oled to a Mini_Led?

      • -3

Why on earth would you want to do that?
The only thing that will come remotely close to OLED is Micro LED.

        • -1

To the LED fanboys, if you think your Mini LED looks as good as an OLED, I recommend visiting an optometrist.

          • @1r4n14n: Of course. I had no intention of swapping a TCL for my LG CX in the living room.
Am looking for a 42-48inch C1 or C2 as a monitor for the office room to replace 2x27inch monitors. Absolute vision quality isn't top priority like in the living room.
For a 55inch, this saves a buttload of cash.

            @1r4n14n: Keep negging me.
Y'all don't know shit about TVs.

      • +1

Not at all. I'm just genuinely curious what are the Cons for this TV. I wanna get smaller one for the office room to be used as a monitor. Been looking at the C1 or C2, but this looks too good for less money.

        • This is a really good TV for its price. OLED is obviously better but it's much more expensive.

          • @brimmy11: You better not say that, there are LED fanboys lurking.

  • Now $2598

    • 2598 is stil a decent price for this TV - but 2198 was amaze

  • Wow. Never heard of this website. Good luck all

  • I thought Mini LED’s consumes less power… Probably not on TV’s..

  • Sale price ends 2nd November or until we decide to change the price yet again.

These TV’s are superb, coming from regular Sony & Samsung user.

I have an older 6 Series TCL which cost me $600 in black Friday a couple of years ago and it has been great for what I need. I'm planning on getting another but wondering if the 835 is worth the stretch over the 735 QLED (currently $1995 vs $1395 at JB)?

  • Don't these only have 120Hz/144Hz 4K@4:2:2?

    It's only 60hz 4K/@4:4:4.

  • After watching Vincent's review, just makes me want the C935
