Leatherman Ltd Ed Heritage PST Original Stamped w/ Tim Leatherman Signature $199.50 (was $399.50) + Delivery @ Tactical Gear Aus

90

Another good Leatherman deal from Tactical Gear Australia. This one is more for the collector, though. Same limited edition tool is $399.95 direct from Leatherman. Seems to be between $280 and $350 elsewhere.

Delivery seems to be about $14 to most places.

Enjoy.

    there's a "Tim Leatherman", like there's a Tim Apple?

these sorts of things are silly… tools are meant to be used… are you using this thing day to day

or the $50 gerber nxt you bought a week ago?

It's exactly that. A multitool. I have a leatherman charge (with the extra bit attachments), in the tank bag of my adventure bike.
I'm not in my garage with roller tool chest in the corner when it gets used

There are lots of people out there who collect leatherman tools. This one would be perfectly usable day to day, but the newer designs are better. This one is definitely aimed at collectors.

But yes, these are really useful when you're away from your tool collection.

You don’t have a set of Tim Allen keys?

For the record, I do have 2 leatherman multi tools. One in the car and one at home that I often carry with me and, yes, they do get used regularly.

I'm waiting for a Leatherman surge deal

    • Is surge the best one?

      • Depends what you want. It's the biggest.

I've been using one of these for about 20 years (no engraved signature). While it's functional and has lasted the test of time, it's much worse than modern designs and quite uncomfortable to use.
I keep using it because we've been through so much together a don't want to retire it.

Don't buy this if you just want a tool, it's not worth the asking price.
For $40 more you can get the OHT which is way nicer.

    • You can get an OHT for less than this on Amazon

      • OHT (One Handed Tool) has been as low as $118.30 earlier this year.

I'd recommend putting off any small jobs until Black Friday / Cyber Monday if you're after a multitool.
