Looks a good deal based on prices in the past. I don't know much about bikes though, is the Cascade 4 worth an extra $100?

I've never read a good review of Alhonga brakes

Go straight to the "4" model!
Don't even think about the "3" as it has a 7-speed 14-28 freewheel instead of a cassette. (4 has 11-32 8-speed)
I could live with cable-actuated brakes, but not that.
You might as well get a K-mart bike if you want cheaper than the Cascade 4 :-)
A little unfair to the 3. It's still excellent value and two orders of magnitude better compared to the components on a China Special from Kmart.
The best value is the 4 for sure. Definitely worth the $100 extra.
Do these bikes work with baby seat add ons?
These bikes are too big for babies to ride regardless of what seat you put on it
Yesn just make sure you get disc compatible
I bought the 4 for my teenage son (and have ridden it a few times myself on blue trails), decent specs for the price, brakes are surprisingly great! But it is a bit heavy.
