Prime exclusive deal. Prime member is required. Not sure about the performance.
Also available as the model YAS-209 for the same price. (The YAS-209 is available from Costco as the ATS-2090 and Yamaha says the two models are identical.)

You referring to Bose and sub 500? No way ;) (completely guessing tho)
Anyone with good knowledge on soundbars? Is this the best sound bar for this price?
The Yamaha range are an Ozbargain favorite
It depends on use case, room size and acoustics and future proofing. For example, features such as Dolby Atmos, adjustable EQ, room tuning and eARC are starting to become widely more available at lower prices. Sometimes these features are not implemented that well (Dolby Atmos can sound like spec sheet tick box but turn out to be a very limited or poor implementation with some sound bars). Friends who are audiophiles stress how a speakers purchase music (and movies) goes beyond the spec sheet and what works for one person may not for another as it is a personal experience. I recommend not only checking RTINGS and similar Youtube reviews but also in store.
I have owned two Yamaha sound bars similar to this model over the last several years and they definitely punch above their weight - so much so that after checking out more expensive soundbars I had to go for a lot more expensive model to make it worth it. I think they Yamaha has some of the best soundbars at this end of the market until you start going above $500 where there are a lot more competition.
For $299 this is an excellent upgrade for any TV that does not have external speakers. The Clear Voice feature is pretty good to boost vocals. The only feature I would personally wish it had was a discrete centre channel for voice, though I doubt their are any other good soundbars anywhere close to this price with it and the Clear Voice mode, while not perfect, can compensate a little.
Anyone who knows a bit about audio, not just soundbars, care to refer me to a similar solution for a space with Blue teeth and/or RCA or 3.5mm in?
I need sound in a room (without a TV) and will probably use my Chromecast Audio to stream to it abs possibly occasionally Bluetooth.
Appreciate any info π
Something like this:
Edifier S350DB Bookshelf Speaker and Subwoofer 2.1 Speaker System:
https://www.amazon.com.au/SPE-S350DB-S350DB-Bluetooth-Multimβ¦
Better sound quality than most/all soundbars, comes with a remote control and has the inputs such as Bluetooth, RCA & 3.5mm etc.
Hey thanks for your time and effort πππ
Any deals on the YSP-2700?
Need AirPlay
which one would you pick betwene this one and the YAS-209 https://www.amazon.com.au/Yamaha-Wireless-Soundbar-Speaker-Y⦠they're both the same price
If you compare the user manuals side-by-side you'll find they're identical. A suggested reason is to protect retailers from price matching. Apparently Costco sold the ATS variant.
Is it 2.1 or 3.1 type?
Is this better than the Bose setup?
