              @Panpanw: You have to sign up to the Google One 2tb plan separately. https://one.google.com/about

              If you're logged into the account tied to the Google One subscription at checkout (and your 2tb plan is active), you'll see a box indicating you'll get 10% back.

      Yeah it's not a huge upgrade, however there were some quality control issues with the 6Pro that may have been ironed out. Personally I didn't experience any of them, but I know a lot of people have.

    Okay so I ended up paying $1169.10 for the phone using the 10% student discount, google sent out an email below a couple days ago which I thought nothing of:

    Thank you for your recent Google Store order. If you were unable to use the 10% coupon* you received in an email from the Google Store on October 7, 2022, you will receive a 10% refund on your phone purchase to your original form of payment once your phone ships. No further action needs to be taken on your end.

    However i've just received a refund for $129.90 from google for some reason bringing the total price as follows;

    $1039.20 paid
    +$300 credit (google promotion)
    +$116.91 credit (google one)
