  • ~$50 elsewhere + delivery, potentially.

  • Are the USB ports also surge protected?

Not a lot of spacing between sockets. Almost as useless as the giant Belkin boards.

  • I may be a man playing with fire but i just grabbed a 6 socket powerboard that has surge protection from kmart for a solid $9 i believe, granted it hasn't got usb ports but i feel almost taken advantage of for paying $34 for a powerboard.

LOL at a 'serious' power solution - it is only 175 Joules of surge protection (so low the retailers don't even want to advertise it), and 4.5A between 6 USB ports is only 750mA each - you can't even charge 2 devices at full speed!

Yeah, not great specs. In comparison, the cyberpower 8 port (2 usb) is 2750 joules and can be easily found under $30.

      • I think I remember seeing some comments to avoid this one on previous deals? I can't remember exactly the issue people were taking with it though.

        • Ah ok, I didn't know. Will look into it. I've had one for a few years now and nil issues and bought another a couple of months ago and works fine.

  • the aldi powerboard is pretty good.

    • also has 1 usb-c port
