[WA] Gillette ProGlide Terracycle Starter Pack 4 $9.99 (Save $26) in-Store @ Chemist Warehouse (Geraldton)

120

Found in-store at Chemist Warehouse in Geraldton.

Includes a handle, 4 cassettes and a razor cap. For $9.99 you can’t go wrong as that puts the cartridges at $2.50 each which is the cheapest they’ve been on here since 2018.

Plenty available when I just had a walk through. Might be available in other locations however the website is showing $17.99 save $18.00.

Happy Dealing!

  • Will we get this price matched at other Chemist warehouse?

Could certainly try with the screenshot. (08) 9921 4151 is the store number in Geraldton if they want to call and confirm.

How many blades? I demand more than The Onion predicted in 2004. That is 18 years ago!

edit: oh FFS Scotty, you are sanitising URLs now? Is this the Harper Valley PTA?

  • Hopefully we're waking up to what a shitty con they are. And a horrifically bad waste of plastic.

This was my old razor before swapping to the King C. Gillette Double Edge Safety Razor. These are decent, but the cartridges do add up. I would recommend the cartridge system (OP posted) for someone who isn't great with shaving, but I find the Safety razor so much better (you will cut yourself a few times at first, especially with aftermarket Astra blade (they are sharp as hell). It worked out for me $14.99 for the razor and a started back of blades (great to learn on, not super sharp) and then $13 for ~1 years' worth of Astra blades (100 refills).

Just something to think about for those wanting to save more or for me, stop wrecking the earth.

There are also heaps of options for blades, so once you find the right ones you'll always get the best shave possible.

King C. Gillette Double Edge Safety Razor is also a very nice weighted handle for beginners for anyone who is interested. Here is the review that convinced me to go straight blade

    • This kind of razor over cartridge razors any day of the week. Too many advantages to name here.

    • I’ve tried pretty much everything when it comes to shaving equipment (double edge, high end electric shavers, every gimmicky Gillette blade you can think of). Haven’t found anything that beats the (very old school) disposable Gillette Sensor3 Sensitive when it comes to speed, closeness of shave, convenience and cost (buy at half price). Double edge is nice but you need to take your time if you want to avoid cuts, which you don’t always have. I do still use a double edge for certain areas though (eg under the nose).

This is a great deal if other stores can match. I usually get AldI's PRINCE Calibre Razor 6 blade system with 3 cartridges. My stubble isn't super densely populated but the blades stay sharp and work well for a long time.

Went to CW and it is now $17.99. Tried to show the screenshot, the staff asked when I got this information - and when I told her that it was posted yesterday (around midnight) she immediately said that "the price has been updated from midnight."

the best a ma'am can get

  • Sweet, can't wait to buy another starter pack in four months and throw this one into my drawer dedicated entirely to shaving handles.

  • Disgusting company!! Nope

    • Hey vashette-5, re:

      'Disgusting company!! ….'

Do you mean Chemist Warehouse or Gillette, and just out of curiosity, why are they a disgusting company?

      • Probably referring to the "woke", gilette campaign a couple years back.

Gillette, with a campaign about woke virtue signalling.. meanwhile basically using slave labour to make their products 🧐

But since you mention it, Chemist warehouse was price gouging masks and other items during cv and profiteering off stock shortages.

Still not as bad as Gillette if you ask me.

Why buy from a company that thinks Men are toxic

          • @fadeinthemix: Exactly!! Don't give money to people who hate you.
