Well reviewed gin at a decent price, wish the blue one was on sale but ill take what I can get.

      Came just to post this… Much cheaper than the regular purple ink gin because its so much weaker

        Most sloe gins will be. If you take 40% gin and soak the sloe in it there will be dilution- most will be 25-30%, there are some up to 40% but it's not the most common. I love the taste of sloe gin, Monkey 47 has been my favourite so far.

        • Very interesting. Didn't know how it was made but that makes sense!

          Not sure why they don't take higher abv gin and steep it to get a final product with the same high abv as the gin we drink but there must be some reason.

          • @Chocobros: I did a tiny bit of research a little bit ago because I had no idea what sloe was - I now have a bottle on my bar cart.

            Essentially it's just the recipe and is different to how other gins are made with their different ingredients. I like fruity drinks, and it's not cordial but it's a sweeter gin- no surprise with the fruit. Worth a go at a bar if you see it.
