This is one of the few headsets that is compatible with wireless audio protocols on both Xbox Series X/S and PS5. Most other headsets will only work wirelessly on one or the other.

anyone know if you can switch between pc and xbox if you've got a wireless dongle for PC?
I want dual functoinality as both devices live on my desk but dont want to cable to my controller
Generally you'll find with these multi-device headsets that you'll need to swap the USB receiver between them, plus there's often a switch you need to slide to have it work with whatever device you're plugging it into. If you want to just plug it in and leave it then I'd suggest using the receiver in the Xbox and connect to your PC with Bluetooth, I'm just not certain if you'll get the same quality of sound, though.
hmm thanks… friend of mine purchased the Steelseries Astro Pro's but they are as expensive as an xbox series x on their own finding it hard to find something equivielent for less

If you own both PS5 and XSX this is definitely the best headset at this price imo. Its selling point is the multi platform capability. RRP is $319
If you only have 1 console, there are many cheaper options.
