Was looking at all the previous deals posted for SSD and wanted more TB for my SFF build. Unfortunately my motherboard only has 1 M2 slot, so ordered one of these instead as my boot drive.

Out of curiosity, I wonder what itx mobo OP has that doesn't have 2 nvme slots but supports pcie gen 4?
This was the first Google search result. 1x pcie3 m.2 and 1x pcie4 m.2
https://www.scorptec.com.au/product/motherboards/amd-socket-…I'm guessing it's not uncommon
I meant only on nvme slot in total. Most b550 itx have 1 pcie gen 3 and one pcie gen4 like the one you linked.
My point was that most boards that support pcie 4 should have 2 nvme slots.
This one from Asrock would fit that description, 1x m.2 slot gen4x4.
I got a Gigabyte B660I Aorus Pro hand-me-down from my ex-boss. Her and her husband gave me one of their spares for my first pc build and I'm slowly getting the parts together. So far I have a NR200P case that I got for $97 and an 850w gold SFX PSU for about $157.
I'm still holding out for a 12700k under $600, 64GB 3600Mhz DDR4 ram, a Noctua air cooler and eventually a graphics card to play all those free Epic/Amazon/Gog games on this 38" Alienware monitor at the highest settings possible.
I was also considering just getting a Asus ROG STRIX B660-I motherboard but they seem kind of expensive
i hope you plan on having some cooling applied. Pre-testing (while waiting for some HS to arrive) without cooling under load this was hitting 68-71C under load.
wondering if i can use my NVMe connector just under my GPU,
I got the x570 wifi, with 2 NVMe connector, but one of them is half hidden behind my GPU not too sure if i should use it
Cheers OP, the 4TB was too much for me, but bit on the 2TB version for $309.13.
First piece of the wife's new computer purchased :)
