TBH, if it's anything like the other hundred games I've got for free of Twitch/Humble/Epic etc, I'll fire them up, play them for 45 minutes, not touch them for a month and eventually uninstall them to save disk space ;D

Fallout 76: The Pitt
This seems to be DLC. Did we get the best game previously?
not sure if its the bundle that has the extra in game items or just the download dlc update. i guess i will wait and see on the weekend what it has.
They Normally just change the title to the newest expansion e.g before it was Fallout 76: Test Your Metal ect
It should be the full game. Like lordlobster said, they change the title. You can't get "Fallout 76" any more. When you add it to the cart at Steam, it's the image is Fallout 76: The Pitt.
It's inclusion as a free game should not that be that much of a shock though. You can get Fallout 76: The Pitt as part of the current Prestige Collection (a Build your own Bundle) at Fanatical right now, bringing the price of the game down to $12.33 (3 titles for $36.99). It's also $11.68 at GMG right now. Wonder if we will see it in Humble Choice soon. They could just be banking on people picking up the game and spending money on the microtransactions.
I have fo76 and the pitt is just an update with a new area and some quests. They just copy GTA:online and call these updates "dlc" despite not being separated installable options from the base game.

Actually looking forward to trying Fallout 76. Always wanted to see what it was like but never wanted to pay for it (at least not the prices on PC). Supposedly it's not half bad these days.

It will be available October 5th apparently, though I don't know what timezone. Fairly sure Amazon is always local time.

Bit annoyed Fallout 76 is on the Microsoft store. Does that pretty much rule out mods? Is Fallout 76 something which you would mod much anyway considering it's an online game?
Is Glass Masquerade: Origins worth setting up a legacy games account for? I've ignored legacy games stuff previously as all their other stuff is hidden object 'games'
It's basically a jigsaw puzzle game but the pieces are odd glass shards that make a stained glass window (there are quite a few to solve). My wife loves that kind of thing (we're in our 60s) and it probably suits someone who wants a very casual game. If you choose not to redeem it, would there be any chance of you posting the code here? (a friend of my wife would like it).

I submitted a deal post on Hero's Hour over a year ago, when it was still in Early Access. Back then, the game's creator wrote on his itch.io devlog:

I have redeemed Fallout on Microsoft store however I can't even begin the download process. What a horrible store. Nothing is working.
There's no way to choose install directory, no way to throttle downloads, no way to create a desktop icon, no way to manage anything about the game, and then 50gb in it forgot it had ever downloaded anything and was asking if I'd like to install. It's honestly made me consider whether paying a few dollars for the game during a steam sale would be worth the saved hassle.
Finally got it installed, then the sign in process (which is horribly designed) bugged out a dozen times at different stages and required a PC restart, then when I finally got past it and changed the graphics settings it said I'd have to sign in again, and think I can't be bothered trying to launch it again now.
Along the way I began to realize that Fallout 76 is an elaborate prank and there's no real game, and am starting to see the humour in what they pulled off. It's obvious in retrospect since the screenshots are just using Fallout 4 assets.

I've been trying to update the XBOX app first because it fails to install anything atm. There's a 13mb update Windows Store tries to do but the speeds are 56k dialup levels and it's failing to finish.
Frustrating as all hell because I've used GamePass before and had zero issues.
I don't use it very often but seem to run into random errors like half the times I try. Sometimes I have to uninstall/reinstall everything to get it to work. Sometimes that doesn't even work. Super frustrating trying to fix it especially if you have a very limited amount of time to play stuff.
