Disco Elysium is a masterpiece, highly recommending it.
not sure why I couldn't get into it at all. I like story games, point and click games etc etc and somehow I'm not sure why it just doesn't pull me in.
Possibly because the game tries to outcompete a dictionary in terms of how wordy they both are.
Its like a benchmark for measuring the efficacy of nootropics lol.It is essentially an interactive book, but the story and the characters and the whole atmosphere is so good. But yes, I guess you need to click with it first.
I enjoyed playing through it but I think this was my biggest criticism too.
Agreed - it's probably the best writing in a game I've ever seen, and I've been plauying since Doom II.
Voiceover is amazing also.
Pity about the developer bust-up issues
Would have been perfect for me to get Broken Roads if I didn't have the other games already.
Couple of good bundles on Humble today but I own most of the games in them. Was initially interested in Broken Roads but those scores are very low.
