  • Is that like a trail running version of the pegasus?

    • +3

The trail running version of the Pegasus would be the Pegasus Trail

    • +4

The Terra Kiger is firmer, with deeper lugs on the sole. It’s better in mud, sand and the wet, but less comfortable on the road compared to the Pegasus Trail.

      • Agree with this. I have both. You dont want to be running on any pavement in the Terra Kiger, but the Peg Trails are great for a 50/50.

    • Believe a more trail designed shoe vs a trail adopted existing design. These seem fairly well regarded for harder, faster trail runs.

Edit - haha just saw the comment above. I don't disagree from what I've read in that they're more serious but still not for example a Salomon speedcross!

  • +1

Been rolling with the salomon speedcross 2,3,4 for 25,000km but I think it's time to give Nike a try. Thanks OP!

    • Fan of the speedcross? they're also on sale

    • Surely these aren't nearly as aggressive as the speedcross!

So many different shoes, can anyone recommend some shoes for over-pronation/ankle problems for walking? I'm on the heavy side too.

      over-pronation

      ASICS Gel Kayano 29

Keep in mind they are more expensive, and maybe ugly looking.

      • +1

That both doesn't matter, thanks for the info :)

      • +1 for the kayanos. i'm not sure if it's the time i've spent wearing them, but i find i overpronate quite a bit less than i used to.

    • Might be worthwhile for you to see a podiatrist, and they might prescribe you some orthodontics that can go in any shoe

      • +2

good advice, but i believe the word you're looking for is orthotics ;)

        • +1

podiatrists can also prescribe braces for your feet :P
