  • Which Dyson would this be similar to in terms of suction power? V11/12/15?

    • +3

It’s similar to the v15 and at this price is a no brainer

      • Not when you need to be buying bags for this one

        • You don't have to use the clean station

          • @Velt: Oh. I'll admit I didn't look I to this much. So you can use the charging station without using the emptying function?

            • +2

@0FoxGiven: Yes just empty the barrel into your bin like any other vacuum. The clean station requires a button press to activate the cleaning. Charging is automatic.

Also the accessories cradle acts as a second charger for your spare battery.

            • @0FoxGiven: I've had this since April and I've only had to empty the bag once (I just pull it out from the opening), rather do that once every 4-6 months than get a cloud dust everytime I manually do it

      • Thanks, I've pulled the trigger on this one

  • Damn that's cheap. I bought the Bespoke Jet™ Elite Extra last week for around $1K, but soon realised that I probably would be using one attachment about 99.9% of the time, and the other three would mostly be gathering dust.

This one is the only one you'll need, and at this price it's an absolute bargain.

    • Have you used the Spray Spinning Sweeper? Is it worth purchasing as well?

      • +1

Yes, I am also interested in knowing difference with this model, as I previously did some research and thought the Elite was the best version.

      • Not used it yet, apart from connecting and pressing the button to see the discs spin. It certainly looks impressive but not sure how effective it is or how often it will be used. I think the regular spinning mop and bucket will be quicker and better at going through our kitchen and hallways, but I msy be wrong.

      • I've got one and it is actually decent, does a good job. Might be obvious but note that the spray spinning sweeper does not use the vacuum to collect dust, it only spins around with water and you have to press a button to spray water on the surface. In short, you have to do a round of vacuuming first and then use the sweeper, you don't want food particles or any other stuff to get stuff in the sweeper pad and then scratch your whole floor (where floorboard).

        • Thanks, sounds like it will do the job for me. I have a bissell crosswave but it misses all the sides cause of the plastic so I wanted something powered that could get those sides. Seems like this will do the job

        • I've not yet read the instructions, but do you just use a regular floor detergent (mixed with water) in the spray bottle?

          • +1

@gasman70: Just water. They do not recommend you using anything else than water.

            • @jaybarrggs: Thanks for that. It was unlikely that I would have looked at the manual, and probably would have filled the bottle with neat Pineoclean.

    • Where did you buy it from for 1k? It looks like RPP is $1399

      • On the educational portal, and with cash back it was slightly more than $1k

  • +1

Have one of these, that's a great price. Excellent vacuum. If you want the pure soft roller that's available on other models you can contact a Samsung repair partner to get one.

    Vacuum wars approved also.

    • which does what?

  • Ripper Price

  • Great vacuum, great price.

  • Amazing price!

  • Thanks for the heads up! I was going to get the Elite but the discount on this was just too big to ignore. I just added in the Spray Spinning Sweeper and extra mop pads and disposal bags and then used the $50 sign up voucher. Still way cheaper than getting the Elite! I just lose out on the Slim Action Brush but it doesn't seem like it's that big of a requirement. https://www.samsung.com/au/support/home-appliances/bespoke-j…

    • If you want the slim action brush you can contact a Samsung repair shop and they should be able to order it for you

      • How much? And can you please give an example of the samsung repair shop you contacted?

        • Statewide appliance spares quoted me approx $210 Inc postage.

          Camtec $142 pickup.

If you contact Samsung chat they can tell you who your local repairer is

      • Do you know how the Slim action brush compares to the Soft action brush? The soft action is listed as for the Jet 90 but I've heard they are compatible with the Bespoke
Can get them for $90 posted https://www.mydeal.com.au/samsung-soft-action-brush-for-sams…

          No clue sorry

  • I have this and honestly it is SUCH a good vacuum. Have the pet version as well, the only issue is the mop feature is terrible, but I think we all knew that.

I'd say it's on par with the v15 from Dyson power wise (without the gimmicky green light) and the fact that I dont have the manually open and dispose the cannister as you just slot it into the vacuum port, press the button, and it empties the stick.

At this price, it's a no brainer.

    • Argh I went out of my way to get the mop.. haha I wish I had seen this comment first. How bad is it? Care to share your experience please?

      • +1

It's slow, very slow. It probably does a more thorough job, but took nearly twice as long as by hand (in my small-ish space). Water squirt feature is average, sometimes squirts too much, sometimes not enough.

It's great if you have a nice long obstacleless floor, but when you're zig zagging around, it does get a little slow. I don't hate it, i've just only used it once in 3 months.

    • +2

Just remember to manually close the lid after executing the auto-empty. I vacuumed half the house before realising the damn door was still open……so had to do it all again after cursing how the thing wasn't picking up anything.

      • Haha, have done this also

      • Been there done that.

  • do you have to hold the button like a dyson or does it stay on?
also how long do people find the dust disposal bags typically take to fill before you need to replace it?

    • +1

Stays on. No trigger. Button next to the screen for off/on/speed.

Bags last months. Got mine in July still not full. Comes with 3.

      • awesome thanks. Also does this stand by itself like the Miele or do you have put it down / lean it on something

        • +2

Doesn't stand by itself but you leave it in the dock and it sits there fine

  • Same price on rewards gateway EPP store as well.

  • Showing get stock alert :(

    • +1

Just came back in stock and was able to order

      • I was too slow but will keep an eye on it thanks

        • I had signed up for the alert but never got an email so might be worth refreshing the page and seeing if it comes back

          • @Korax: Actually had it in my cart and it took it away from me. Will periodically refresh. Thanks for the heads up.

    • +1

      Back in stock

      • Thanks.
Finally managed to get one. Good deal with 2 batteries (and $50 sub voucher)
Nearly spent way more on a v15 and that’s even with old vacuum discount but glad this came up

        • How long did you wait for your voucher? I'm worried if I keep waiting for it I'll miss out on the deal completely.

          • @Bazzaaa: I had one in reserve from a previously cancelled order so was lucky in that regard. I have heard they are a bit inconsistent in timing of sending out code, generally a couple of days if you chase them up

          • @Bazzaaa: Agree with newsat - apply for a code now, and I think you might have to email their online support to get one sent to you - it took a week for mine. This was back in July, so lucky the code still works from when I just used it now. But I wouldn't wait for the code because I think this deal will be over by then.

            • @ranma: Yes, I ended up just buying it, this deal was just too good to potentially miss out on. Super happy still, I've been eyeing stick vacuums for the past few months and this one is perfect.

  • What's the difference with the pet one?

    • +2

The Pet extra has 2 batteries and is green. The white Pet has 1 battery only.

  • Does anyone know if this deal has ended?

  • Request a $50 subscription code from this thread to reduce the price to $669.40

  • Price has gone up :(

  • Has anyone actually received theres yet? Samsung is giving me a run around on when mine is coming

    • Mine arrived yesterday, but it was posted 2 weeks earlier to give you an idea.
I kind of understood the hold up when it arrived as it come on a large combination truck.
I've got no idea why a vacuum cleaner needed to basically be delivered on a truck designed for much larger packages (furniture)

      • Damn im still waiting on mine. Getting no update on it from samsung

        • When did you order? I ordered 29th Sep and it was delivered 6th October, but also I think I jumped on this asap before a lot more people ordered.

That does suck - the vacuum is really really great so it's a good purchase, but everyone does seem to say that if you encounter any problems Samsung's customer support is the worst - and it looks as though you've encountered some. :( Hope it gets delivered soon and you don't have any more hiccups!

          • @ranma: Ordered around 8am on the 29th. I am in Geelong so not sure if that impacts being a regional location. But have been following up with samsung non stop and getting nothing

            • @Thunder-Wombat: That's a bugger. I'm in a regional area in Vic (much more regional and further from Melb than Geelong) and as I mentioned mine took 2 weeks to rock up. I also didn't order in the first batch, had to wait the next day for them to come back in stock.
I've read from past deals peoples terrible experiences with Samsung shipping/support and was concerned myself, sorry to hear but it seems u have drawn that short straw.
As ranma mentioned we've been rapped with ours, it's a great machine and will be worth the wait.

    • Mine took over a month, the whole time Samsung could not tell me where it was. Terrible experience. Vacuum is great tho.

  • I received mine on the 10th October through a Samsung delivery truck driver.
