Here to say otherwise. Really don’t know what exactly changed the new medium stays in my ear better and so much more comfortable.
Better transparency mode adds to the comfort and as a result I can keep them on for much longer.

Gen 1 were the worst pair of earbuds I've owned for fit and stability. Went with the Bose QC earbuds and can't be happier. Not sure whose ears these are designed for.
Nope, I had this issue with gen1 but it’s completely fine with gen2.

Physically, yeah, same dimensions just a new size ear tip. But for the times they were fitted correctly, they sound absolute amazing. The volume touch is ok, but it's on the inside of the stem which is weird. I really don't like the pinch to pause/change song etc as all it did was move the AirPod around.

A little better reportedly. Also some YouTube reviews confirm.
Main thing limiting the call quality on all these headphones are Bluetooth really. They all use algorithms to get around that and this one seems to be improved. Especially wind noise handling apparently. But don’t expect great quality.
Nice… might have to upgrade when the price drops a little. I’ve been using my gen 1 with comply memory foam tips and have been happy with the sound but the call quality has let me down quite a bit.

On my gen 1 airpods pro, I could still hear about 10% of everything in my gym. Now with the gen 2, I can barely hear anything excepts for when I stand within 5m from the gym's massive speakers. Well worth the money for me.
Costco Moorabbin had them listed at $359 (from memory) although I don't know if they were really in stock, but they had the cards up and the price listed.

Any reason to get these over Sony WF-1000XM4 which are $100 to $180 cheaper depending on sales? Almost every review I've read says the ANC and sound quality of the Sony's is miles ahead of these? These have slightly better call quality but is that worth the extra $$ ?

I used to have some AirPods and they kept falling out of my ears. The new AirPods Pro 2 stay in my ears and the ANC is outstanding. I was nervous about buying a new pair but zero regrets now. Plus I got the $319 price. Would love to buy a second set for my son for his bday but that deal would be hard to replicate.

Great product, but if you suffered from the gen 1 falling out of your ears, gen 2 (even with the smaller ear tip) isn't any better unfortunately.
