Lowest price for this newly release Venu 2 Plus (released in Jan 2022).
Normally $699 at JB, Rebel and others.
Lots of good reviews for this watch, and an amazing battery life for what it can do.

This price is obviously creeping up to the likes of Apple watch but 5 times the battery life or more, obviously see what your priorities are.

  It is the price of the Apple Watch. That’s a hard sell. If I was to take the massive compromise to get a Garmin instead of an Apple Watch, it would need to last much longer than 5 days hey.

    You're probably not the target market for this if you think the Apple watch is a better product.

      To be fair, in nearly all fitness related metrics, Apple Watch is as accurate, if not more so. The only thing IMO that garmin does better is golf courses. And I wouldn't buy this watch for that one feature. I run 20km a week, cycle 50km, track all my workouts. I came from garmin fenix 5. On iPhone, the smart watch features are HEAVILY limited on a garmin too, for example, you can't reply to messages or view images from messages.
      The apple watch gets GPS signal extremely quickly, and for the metrics I track, has been as good as the fenix 5, but obviously slightly better in GPS tracking, and fitness related features such as fitness+ coaching. The only thing I miss from my Fenix was the fortnight long battery life, but even then I just charge every night with my phone.

    I was being generous to give the new Apple Watch 2 days of battery life, as this one would last at least 9 ;)

      Going from reviews, if you use AOD on the Venu, you are looking at 2-3 days max (without workouts). I get 1 day with Apple Watch when working out, or 1.5 days when not working out (so charge every night).
