        I have a screenshot. It was two weeks. In any case, that day for me passed yesterday and nothing so I contacted JB. They said bad backlog and will be done within the week but acknowledge it’s coming.

        Question now, do I risk selling the soundbar before cash hits the account. Already have the YAS 408 soundbar and selling the 650b in box unused will be much more cost effective I imagine. Just don't want any curly ones from samsung if I already onsold

    On audio settings of tv and just going of online manual as I still dont have tv yet,

    Can the tv speakers be used the same time as a external soundbar or amp?

    The manual says the following, on soundbar seems to say you need higher end Q series but at same timeyou can output via optical "simultaneously"?

      Yep. I’ve got it connected to the sound bar and it’s coming out of the TV as well with Q-Symphony. Definitely sounds better than sound bar alone which is cool.

          I’ve got the Q800B that I bought with it.

          Originally had a Q900a from a previous OzB deal I picked up for $795 but I will sell that as I prefer the look of the 800b with its metal construction over the felt lined 900a. Sound wise I am not an audiophile and can’t notice too much difference from 7.1.2 to 5.1.2 for my usage and volume levels.

    Just got email from Samsung that my $500 cash back claim has been approved and bank transfer to occur in next 60 days.

      Same. After my serial number dilemma I ended up trying multiple combinations of one number being different to let it go through without the error and submitted with the picture of the correct serial assuming they would approve it because I accidentally typed it wrong by a digit.

      To my surprise they did.

      Same, I got the same email, in the process of depositing the money into my bank account. From previous experienced Samsung did not deposit money into my account before the 60 days period, I have to chase them on the 65th day, hopefully, that won't happen again.

      Above is the only current promotion for black Friday, I spoke with Samsung on live chat about any other promotions but apparently that's it.
      The best they could do was a 15% coupon if I submitted an old serial number off an old device which I explained would not even bring it under store ticketed price.

      Sucks we missed out I almost pulled the trigger at the GG for $3495 lucky I didn't I would of been pissed ( there was some wriggle room but I wanted to go home and research further. )

      Bought the Samsung Q Series Q990B about 2 weeks ago so I would of put my old tv with buggered speakers in the bedroom and had a sweet new lounge room setup FML.

          Have been thinking about this daily. It’s not far off the new year which means new models. I won’t pay over $2700 prob closer to $2600.

          Current price is down to:

          $3295 at the GG Harvey’s
          $3288 at bing lee

          With some decent haggling I could probably could get it down to 3k but still to far away for me.

            @Marzy: Just bit the bullet and got it for $2805 delivered via the Samsung online site. Follow Fluffyduck77 instructions and it works easy and quickly, don't need to be an existing samsung customer as well.
