Selecting Ecommerce and Dropshipping Platforms

Hi All,
I have registered some company names, domains, and have logos created to start a series of drop shipping websites.
I have strong industry connections and believe i have found a genuine gap in the market.
I am proposing some innovative functionality on these sites such as splitting market baskets by attibute, etc.
I do have strong ERP system skills and understand high level system architecture around B2B and data flow, so i can ask enough questions to get to understand it.
The problem is that I have near zero tech skills with e-commerce and drop shipping.
I am seeking someone that can provide me with guidance on what plaform to use without instantly saying Shopify. For example, do i need an e-commerce platform that integrates into shopify, something that can handle b2b connections with my suppliers, do i need marketplace connections?
Ideally someone that can help select suitable platforms and support either doing the builds or by managing it.
I have already explored bigcommerce, sana, shift4shop, sourcesage, and have started looking into syncee.
Any positive contributions and messages are welcomed.

Thanks in advance.

    What?

You need to Google, my guy.

Are you going to be paying this person the tens of thousands of dollars to do this for you?

You've said you're a smart guy, have industry connections, platforms nowadays like Shopify and BigCommerce are so stupidly easy to put together and you don't need programming experience. If you really are that smart, and the idea is that groundbreaking (lol) then just learn how to do it yourself.

    • The one thing I don't really have is time given I work and this is my side startup project. Happy to pay an expert or someone to help narrow it down to get it moving along as I don't have the time to do it all by myself. Over time this will likely need a team to run it if it gets off the ground.

  • Asking or just thinking out loud…

    Try MrRentaPlatform

    • Thanks, asking while proving information of what I'm after and some context.

  • Ecommerce websites are just sales clerks. Your business needs API connections to your business system, your partners Warehouse WMS and or your freight provider.
As long as the software is able to identify the physical location of the items, all you need is an integrator like Orderdesk.com. These companies collect hundreds of API's, and you don't have to know anything about programming to get up and running overnight. the future of Ecommerce is in Aggregation, and these solutions do it.
I use Orderdesk but have no commercial association, so PM me if you would like more info.

    • thanks for this good contribution. it looks like you have PMs turned off if you can message me please?

  • An AliExpress account
    A Shopify store
Buy some useless shit in bulk
Spam it as a "deal" on OzBargain
    ???
    Profit.

That's basically the playbook for all the other dropshitters on this website.

    • Potential strategy but not for me. Keeping it as a local Australian option targeted for specific industries.

  • Please don't sell us Heymix chargers, they are trash.
